Andrea was the nicest person when helping me find shoes. I came in on a Wednesday after work, in my boots and overalls. Usually I don’t have the best experience if I go shopping in my work attire. But she was very attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me find great shoes, took my feed back when trying on shoes and showed me the sale section. When I come back for a bridesmaid dress for my sister I will be asking for her. She was a complete joy. And you can tell she enjoys her job.
Stacy Stacy Stacy! Should I say her name again? Give this girl a raise! When I first arrived at the store she was on a long phone call and had 2 party’s she was helping find bridesmaid dresses. She directed me back to alterations and constantly checked on me. At the end of my appointment we had to do a refund for some of the alterations I didn’t end up needing and she made everything feel so calm and taken care of. Only a manager could issue a refund but she was so helpful and amazing between helping me and all the other guests and answering phones. She was running that place like a pro and ALL ON HER OWN! For being new she seemed like someone who had been there forever. I say if you are booking there, book with her. She was awesome! Thank you again Stacy!!
Stacy was so friendly and helpful. She quickly helped me pick out 5 dresses to try on - all different styles but all that I liked. She found veils that perfectly matched each style dress too! She made the experience easy and fun! I adored my experience with her.
I had a great experience at David's Bridal in Madison with Stacy! She was patient, kind, gentle and helpful. I tried on dresses I would never have thought to try without her advice. She did a great job and I really appreciate how much she helped me when I didn't know for sure what I wanted.
We bought a bridesmaid dress for $130, and the quality was subpar. We asked for pricing for alterations three different times and were told “it is reasonable and varies depending on the dress”. After an hour of standing to measure the hem and mark other alterations, we were presented with a bill for a ridiculous $195! We stopped in for the first fitting and complained about the crookedness of the work done and the messy elementary stitching used. They agreed to fix it. After the second time, we gave up as it was worse and took the dress. We have now had to have the dress fixed by someone else who agreed it was the worst work she had seen. She fixed it and charged far less!!! Shoulder seems were visible more than an inch different. Sleeves had more fabric in the front on one side. The hem was atrocious!
Fabulous selection for any occasion. I came in for mother if the bride. Andrea did a fantastic job of assisting to get exactly the perfect dress! I will recommend David’s and ANDREA to everyone looking for a dress!
I got my bridesmaids dress and another dress altered here at the end of June. I liked the seamstress and we had a good plan in mind. The bridesmaids dress was supposed to be just above my shoes and all 3 skirts would be the same length. When I was there the seamstress was pleasant and we the bride and myself enjoyed talking to her. She pinned the dress in the right places and double checked with me. The day I picked up both dresses I tried on the first dress and it was fine. Even hem, both the inner and outer skirts had the discussed length. I tried the bridesmaids dress on I was shocked. All 3 skirts are several inches higher than we discussed and what was pinned in the store. The inner skirts are noticeably higher than the chiffon skirt. The back of the skirt is also higher than the front of the skirt. To “fix” the dress I would need to lose even more fabric, ruining the silhouette of the dress. The dress would no longer be floor length all the bridesmaids dresses were supposed to be floor length. The corrected fabric would be great for a junior bridesmaid, not a grown adult at a formal event. I also had the shoulder straps of the dress taken in. When I tried the dress on again at home I realized the straps were sloppily done. One of the straps has a tear. Ultimately I am baffled that these kinds of a mistakes can be made. The seamstress did not offer any explanation for what went wrong and brought a manager over after speaking with her for some time. After listening the manager admitted that the dress did not meet their standards and she offered to refund the cost of the hem but not the other alterations. My SO continued to talk to the manager when I walked away and she said then they would refund the cost of the entire dress, as they can’t fix it/add more fabric. The manager also offered to discount a dress in a similar color from their store - so give them more money after paying $131 for my dress to be ruined. With 8 days until the wedding I realize it was the best they could do but I was still bothered that the staff assumed I could trust them with another alteration. The bride also called and was put into contact with the alterations manager. The alterations manager offered to fit and alter a new dress herself. I’m just not comfortable having a staff member work from David’s Bridal work on another dress, especially given that there’s only a week until the wedding. She also said that seamstress have to train on their own, which makes me wonder just how under-qualified the seamstress was. I sincerely regret not supporting a local Madison tailor for my dress.

Maria helped me for the second time today and I found a dress that makes me feel amazing! I got two dresses from DB for our wedding in Las Vegas. I wore one for our ceremony in Red Rock Canyon and one to go out on the strip afterwards. I absolutely loved them both.
Callie was great! She helped us find the style and fit for a bridesmaid dress that was just perfect for our tropical wedding coming up this summer.
