Was only in the area for a day and we were hungry. Wasn't sure what to expect. Was surprised that they were known for their fish! Enjoyed the fish and Tuna melt. Also their Peanut butter pie is a must try if you like Peanut butter.
Food came out hot which was good. The clam chowder was very good. Wife compared her fried chicken to Jollibee which for her was a real treat, and I of course got the famous fish fry. Always good. We'll be back for sure.Food: 4/5
Server was awesome. Food was excellent. Popcorn shrimp basket was amazing. Definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
Enjoyed a very nice lunch here with the family. A decent variety of selections along with some daily specials available. For our party of four our bill was approx. $52 before tip. Only mild issue was I found the serving size of the daily special chipped beef over toast to be a little on the small size. But as stated it was a mild issue and did not detract from the overall positive experience. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
This is our favorite local restaurant! Their fish recipes are fantastic. Salads are fresh, mozzarella sticks are different and quite tasty. The restaurant is easy to locate and there is plenty of parking. We arrived at lunch and service was fast and courteous. We will return!
Hands down the best fish fry around! They know how to do it right. Other menu options are also outstanding and the the service has always been fast and friendly. You will not be disappointed dining here!Food: 5/5
Been going to Davidson's since the 70's. Their fish dinner is my go to choice. Tasty and delicious. Recommend the coleslaw and fries to go with it. They add a touch of horseradish to give it a something a liitle extra. Be weary of their water. It has an odd taste.Food: 5/5
Have been going to Davidson for over 40 years. Reading some of the negative reviews just shows how petty some people can be. Surprise, something fried in oil will be a bit greasy. You could order the fish lightly battered which will be less oily. Better yet try it broiled. Yum. And for the reviewers complaining about service, try walking in their shoes. The servers hustle their behinds off there. To the ones who state they won't return, good riddance. No great lost.
I didn't realize that the menu at this restaurant has all of its meals made with low sodium - no salt. Then I started to observe while I was at my table that a majority of the guest are mainly senior citizens. So that explained why me meal had no salt- no flavor.Food: 1/5
Worst broiled fish I ever had. Very dry and served in tiny pieces didn’t seem like a full piece of fish also had fish bones in it, daughters hot roast beef wasnt fresh and was very salty and salads were not fresh , definitely won’t return Food: 1/5
