Countless fields and two awesome dog parks. Each one has a pond in the middle and lots of running space. They are separated by weight and it's off- leash. Small playground. Well kept grounds. Dog-friendliness: 2 big parks, separated by weight.
Nice sports park. Big, lots of fields for all main sports. Well upkept. They need more parking, the last lot needs to be paved and they need a 2nd entrance / exit
Nice park over-all. The soccer fields had some holes filled with sand, which isn't ideal. And the parking seemed inadequate for the amount of people at the tournament we were attending. Aside from that, they had nice facilities and food on location when we were there for a tournament.
Davis Park has incredible facilities for soccer, football, softball and baseball. St John’s County youth sports programs fill the parks with athletic leagues, local and regional leagues and tournaments. The staff keep the fields well manicured and open for play, even during non event times. Two fenced dog parks with walking trails around small lakes give dogs and their owners room to stretch out for runs, swimming and socializing. Weekends find an abundance of furry friends. You are going to love it here.
Great park with a central focus on sports, but with a lot of other fun things to do. The soccer fields are well taken care of. The dog parks are kept clean and are very nice. Playgrounds are smaller but still fun and safe for the kids. Overall a great experience for all ages and stages.
Facilities were excellent, fields were well cared for. The only downside was having only one entry/exit road for the entire complex, made for a very difficult drive out at the end of the day. .This was especially exacerbated by strong rain and lightning that kept things from moving smoothly. Otherwise a good complex, bathrooms were clean as well. Restrooms: Very clean and well maintained, look new.
PG North Florida Super Regional NIT. This little green tree frog, which I rescued from being trampled, hung out and watched me work all day
We're took our son with his travel ball team to this park for a Perfect Game tournament. Facilities were good and parking was a little tight but adequate. Restrooms: Decent facilities for kids baseball fields.
The dog park is nice. A fenced in lake with signs that warn of possible reptiles! Yes, I have personally seen gators in the water each of the last 3 Springs. They are promptly dealt with by the park. No developed walkway but the grassy areas enable walking all around the lake with a bridge on the far side over the overflow. Only a couple benches. Hose off area across the road if your dog likes swimming. Playground: swings and a slide. Alongside the road, so bit of a risk parking.
Davis Park is very nice and well maintained. There are baseball, soccer, and football fields and two dog parks with a lake in each one. One park is for smaller dogs and the other is for larger dogs. There is shade and a place to wash your dog before you go home. It's free and a very good time.
