Davis Square Bowl Haven

Wonderful, thin, hand-thrown pizza that comes out of a fantastic wood-fired oven. You could just sit there, drinking great beer, watching that team work their magic. The candlepin bowling looked great, but we hadn't reserved a lane and they were in demand. Everyone was there--families with kids, couples, groups. Wonderful.

I loved the OG Sacco's, so I was high originally so disappointed they were closing. I love that they kept a lot of the vintage feel. Wish there were more lanes, but the vegan pizza is great and the root beer on tap is my absolute favorite

Great pizza, plenty of parking in the area, and a fun bowling time! Definitely try to reserve a lane. They have great beer on tap and again the pizza is top notch!

Super fun place to try candlepin bowling! The pizza is delicious and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. We went from a table to bowling and back to a table for dessert and the staff kept everything on one tab for us to pay at the end which was super convenient. The whole place is very charming and old fashioned. My group liked keeping our own score and getting to press the button to reset the pins. Very easy to get to via the Red line

Total disappointment. Don’t show up on a Saturday without a reservation! Walked in at 1pm on Saturday and was told a lane would be free at 3pm. Show up at 3pm to be told It will be closer to 5-6pm. Wish we got a truthful estimate as we waited around for 2hrs for nothing! Major strikeout

The team that works with the bowling kids’ gutter balls, all the pizzas and salads, and the cocktailing parents are SO delightful. They make it even more than fun here; they make it special. Thank you for bringing so much joy to kids and adults!

Not many more places like this are left. Pizza is pretty good.

Had a great time here, candlepin is fun, and the retro setup is great for casual play Service was a bit slow though even though it was very fun. It’s connected to American flatbread and the pizza is also great

Just an incredible place with welcoming vibes. Our group of 9 showed up with accidentally no reservation on a Sunday night, but they found us a space to sit and eat in less than 30 minutes. Then, basically as we finished eating, we promptly got word that there were lanes open for us to play. Shoe rental and 'bottle service' on the lanes were perfect. Pizza-wise, they have pretty good options and super fast service. Our waitress was a trooper dealing with 9 people that are horrible at coordination. Food would be maybe 9/10 just because the pizza is relatively thin and not quite as filling as we hoped, but we got 6 pies for 9 people. Overal, 10/10 night thanks to Sacco's!

Can be a bit chaotic if a school's there for a field trip, but the staff are fantastic - especially the young man taking care of the shoes. He did a fantastic job keeping things in order. Really fun trip.
