A unique and amazing farm to table eatery tucked away in the La Quinta Village Shopping center. They specialize in breakfast and lunch but just recently introduced afternoon/evening tapas and wine service. This was our first visit and we tried their "Works" cheese plate along with some wine and it was fantastic. Delicious cheese selections and wonderful accoutrements to pair with them. Bekah and Ernesto were amazing servers - very friendly and efficient. We had an opportunity to chat with the chef and co-owner, Justin Jenkins. He gave us some background on the restaurant's history and concept. We cannot wait to go back and try their breakfast and lunch items. If you're in the area, stop in and sample their food. You'll be happy you did.
What a cute restaurant with a fun crew and great vibe! The inside is spacious with some cute sofa seats available in the corners. The crispy kale is delicious! The fingerling potatoes are also amazing!Food: 5/5
The chicken and waffles were excellent. My sister also really enjoyed her fried chicken bahn mi. Overall great experience, nice waiter and chill atmosphere.Food: 5/5
SUCH DELICIOUS VEGAN OPTIONS!! The cutest indoor vibes too and bar area was adorable! Got the vegan french toast honestly not my favorite too coconutty and not crisp enough but my bf loved it The vegan breakfast hash was soooo tasty loved the addition of the crispy kale and the sauce was delicious- definitely super filling too! The mango date oolong iced tea was so refreshing as well and they used date inside and it was sooo yummy and felt healthy! The staff was so nice and welcoming- Definitely returning when i come back to palm springs!!
The food here was delicious. I had a burrito that had some sort of sauce inside that was top notch. Only thing, it took about an hour to get our food! The service was not top notch. Our server took our order then never came back. We had to ask the bus boy to find out what was happening with our food. Didn’t even bother asking for fresh coffee and some water. We almost put $20 on the table for drinks and left before food came because we felt forgotten. Luckily the food was delicious and brightened our mood back up but I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you have hours to spare.
What a gem! I’ve officially found my new place for breakfast in the heart of Old Town La Quinta. Fresh, organic, tasty food. Cool vibes music playing in the background. Comfy chairs, couches and tables, all in light pastels that compliment the desert location. Attention to detail, family feel, all woven throughout this great little bistro. Chef Justin works his magic on all of the food and beverages, and his lovely wife Mackenzie and her awesome team of folks, make you feel right at home. If you are in the area, and craving a yummy breakfast or lunch, do yourself a favor and stop into this lovely place. You won’t be disappointed.
Gluten alternatives, an abundance of vegan choices, farm fresh ingredients... you might feel like you're at some up-and-coming restaurant in Brooklyn or Silverlake by just looking at the menu. But without any sense of pretentiousness, this place truly hit the spot. Beautiful Day is aptly named - it provides a stylish and comfortable atmosphere to dine in with friends. I had the Breakfast Hash, which came topped with perfectly crispy kale and a delicious creamy sauce Mami sauce. The Huckleberry Hotcakes and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich were also excellent. They have a great selections of freshly brewed teas on the menu as well. Looking forward to coming back soon!
Staff is super friendly. Marquis was very sweet and was also easy going making it a great experience for us. Food was healthy and tasty. Gluten free options for sensitive people like myself. Crispy Kale, made super excited to see my plate. It was mouth watering -BREAKFAST HASH. Huckleberry Hot cakes, were very good. Definitely recommend. Especially if your searching for a new spot in town. Also! PHOTOSHOOT BACKGROUND My saying is Life is Beautiful. This restaurant speaks out to me. Thank you ! Beautiful Day.
Don't be fooled by the casual bistro ambiance, this is some of the best flavors and healthy choices in the desert. We have been here twice in 4 days and will go back again now that they are open after 2 pm for dinner. They make it easy for someone for food preferences to order as menu items are clearly marked as GF, GF Option, or Veg and Vegan options. Yahoo! EVERY restaurant should do this! For brunch we had a hard time making a decision - everything sounded so good. The frittata was delicious and we loved that it was served with salad as a side! The GF huckleberry pancakes were a decadent treat and my non-GF husband thought they were delish, too. My husband ordered the egg sandwich which he was was elevated with a special sauce. We went back again for Tapas and Happy Hour. Flowers & Chutney is a gourmet pairing of flavors: Roasted cauliflower, slightly tangy tomato chutney and cashew crema. Holy Cow. We argued over the brussel sprouts not your same old bs flavoring. And we loved our fresh Gem salad. Can't wait to return and try so many of the other tempting menu offerings. I'll say it again - some of the best tasting, most flavorful food I have found in this valley. At an incredible price point, served by lovely people. Whether you are a full time resident or a visitor, a Beautiful Day is worth the trip! Dietary restrictions: Accommodates Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free.
Unbelievable!!! And a must visit! The vegan/GF granola was outstanding, the flavor profiles were unreal. Fennel, red oranges, coconut yogurt. Matcha Chaga! If you are in the area you have to check it out. Look not further! And I’m very hard to please ;
