Day One Restoration has been in business since 1987. For 23 years, we have dedicated ourselves to the restoration of fine furniture and repairs of utilitarian furniture. Every piece that comes into the shop is approached with care and professionalism that the piece and the customer deserve. All work is restored with period materials to the piece. We also do work on upholstered furniture, with vintage techniques by extensively experienced craftsman.
Furniture restoration has led to the restoration and duplication of exterior doors such as Brownstone palor doors, duplication molding work, relief carving, and hardware. We also work on interior wood restoration, such as paint removal, mill work, and finishing. All work is approached with the same delicate touch that is required of furniture restorations.
