This Days Inn was not worth the price. You would be better off paying $30.00 or more for nicer accommodations. The only positive is the proximity to LAX, and the 405 fwy. The room was decent enough, but your view from the only window, is a shipyard that starts work at 5:00am in the morning, or a brick wall. If you have children be careful, our room's windows opened all the way, with no child guard, and no screens. A child or adult could easily fall out, and we were on the second floor. The room did have an updated bathroom, that was very small. Their lite breakfast was bread, tea, sugar, mustard, and ketchup. It was nothing like the photos. We ended up going out for breakfast at The Coffee Company, not far away. We decided to buy lunch to cook in the microwave, but because an outlet power strip continuously tripped the T.V., mini fridge microwave, and coffeemaker were all on the same circuit, the power kept going out on the microwave, and mini fridge. We informed the staff of the problem. Their solution was to let us use their microwave located in the storage room. If you have a car you may not have a place to park, we watched three of the cleaning staff people take up two parking spaces with their cars. That would mean a paying guest would have to find parking somewhere else if the lot is full. Also can someone point out where the onsite restaurant is located?, because I didn't see one. They claim a shuttle to and from the airport, I only saw a Day Inn van that appeared to be unused. The website shows quite a few amenities that have obviously been discontinued. Days Inn is definitely off my list for future travel stays
Great value for the money, really helpful staff from Jenny the clerk to Tony the Manager to the Housekeeping staff. Some rooms are being remodeled and refurbished but nothing distracting unless next room over. Very quiet rooms inside. On same side of street and 1/4 mile from world-famous Randy's Donuts, Arby's next door and two pizza places a block away. Right next to bus lines and super close to LAX. Many hotels in this area and this Days Inn is slowly improving from a 2-star to a 3-star. Pool was down during my visit for some repairs and recertification. Rooms are super clean and while not everything is perfect, the things that matter were in my opinion. Super comfortable beds, super clean room and bathroom. Hot water takes 2-3min to fully kick in but this is normal for most California hotels. Overall the rates were comparable or better than others in the close vicinity. Never underestimate the value of a competent staff.
We stayed for 4 days. We had 3 rooms. The room I was in had a extra room with no air in it. That room was a sauna. The carpet was dirty. The toilet kept running. The door can be pushed open unless you actually lock it. The room my daughter/boyfriend were in the toilet seat was broke. The toilet kept running. They had cockroachs. The last room had a hole in the wall, missing molding, only a couple working plugs. The sign in office says check in is 3p. The dude kept saying 4p. We had to stand there and wait 20 minutes while he sat at his desk and did nothing. He said the rooms were being finished. Not sure what they actually ckean.
Worst accommodation I ever sleep. So loud neighbor with loud music end at 5 am. Very, very annoying. When I went to reception, receptionist guy told he can’t do nothing with that situation. I want swap room, not possible. On our floor many rooms under construction, that start at 7 am. Terrible service. I can’t realize “sleep” in here next 2 days. Don’t make reservation in this motel, it’s just expensive Sh*t.
The rooms were dirty and this place isn't located in a nice area. For the price, this hotel was not worth it. Also, the staff weren't friendly, but it seemed like they were stressed and under staffed. So it was probably a difficult work environment. Rooms: The bathroom door and shower door didn't work properly. There was writing on the bathroom door.
Well located. But lack of maintenance. The room smelled wierd and bathroom was at the worst. The receptionist seems doesn't have idea on it. And no alternate rooms was offered as I booked with points. They offered to cancel reservation. But after booking at alternate hotel they didn't bother to cancel saying option not available. Hope Wyndham looks into this and resolve.
So so dirty! Check in staff was nice. Can't say anything else pleasant about this. AC was off when we came in. Sliding don't to open balcony was open 1 ft. Nothing on the walls, draped partially ripped. The order was bad...pay the extra money to stay in a better place!!!! Safety: We knew we were in a shady part of town but there was no way to give us extra security.the stairs to the rooms was open like a motel and when we came in the slider to the balcony was open access from other rooms could be obtained.
We were welcomed by addicts checking people's vehicles outside the so called hotel. The whole place was just a total mess, very dirty, smell very bad and surrounded by people whos obviously under the influence of something. When you walk into the check in area - kitchen is there too and a dirty fridge with a half full gallon of milk - we ended up cancelling our reservation. BOOK HERE OR YOU WILL END UP GETTING ROBBED OR LOSING SOME OF YOUR VEHICLES' PARTS.
Clean and comfortable bed and nice pillows, very nice bathroom very nice towels and helpful staff. I had a sudden change of plans and asked to check in early. I was acomodadated with understanding.
Worst hotel ever pls don’t book here,you will be disappointed.. staff is worthless, we ask for more towels and said they didn’t have any, the beds were not queens, they were full, the hot water didn’t last and don’t be fool about the breakfast, they only had bread with cream cheese they didn’t even have juices.Rooms: 1/5
