The floors don’t look like they have been mopped since they got put in. My daughter walked across it barefoot for 10/15 minutes & her feet was black. My bed slid over and there was a bunch of dirt underneath it as well. They don’t clean the rooms very well. But then again I’m sure they don’t pay their employees very much either. But still they could do better.
Checked out room for one night. It was a nightmare. Dead bugs on the floor. Flies and gnats boxed me in the face, many camping out on the bed and in the bathroom. Bed covers were nasty with stains on the blanket. Bed bug infestation!!!! They started coming out at 9:00 p.m. after the Equalizer. Terrified to lay on the beds. By 10 P.M., woke up in the desk chair to bed bugs running across the desk, coming from the lamp. Packed up and slept in my car. Wouldn't return for a stay even if Trump bought the hotel.
This place has been recently updated. New curtains new carpet new paint art Etc. And I must say the beds , at least in my room, were the most comfortable of any Motel I have ever been in. The pool was out of order which really put a damper on spending time with my grandkids because they wanted to go swimming. And there is a crack under the door that needs to be addressed because anything can crawl under that. The price was great. So all in all a great place to stay and save some money.
I stayed several nights and the rooms are not really kept up . I found socks and a chew toy in my room from who knows how long ago. They have bathtubs which is nice if you want a bath and are able to clog the drain with something. I hope your bathroom vent works because mine didn't . I'm pretty sure the bug I killed upon entering was a cockroach, but I couldn't tell what it was after I crushed it. For breakfast they have make your own pancakes and the rest is pastries from Walmart or another store. Rooms: There are a few well kept rooms but for the most part it looks like they need lots of repairs. Walkability: There is a five star gas station across the street and a few restaurants further down the road if you like to walk right beside a highway.
The room was clean but it had issues. The floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked and lifted. The tub had a constant drip that would fill to a thin layer then goes down to start again. Breakfast consisted of bread and a container of oj. The pool pictured is not what we found. Smaller no diving board. The top sheet on the bed were so worn I thought it was stained or wet but it was so old it had areas you could see through. Floor was sticky and sink basin was cracked. Not our best choice.
There was a hole in the wall, scrapings on the back of the bathroom door from a dog, and a screaming microwave. The bedside lamp also didn’t work, there’s no TV guide, and the shower was missing its liner. I fail to understand how they looked at the room and went “this is fine”. Two stars because it was a mildly safer place to sleep than in my car.
Well I will just say I will check reviews before booking rooms from now on. The staff was super friendly and the location was perfect for the reason I was visiting, however it came painfully clear that this is one of those hotels where people stay extremely long and when they vacate little is done to get the room back up to standards. The door itself was extremely questionable, it had holes on the backside patched and in patched, it was filthy, like someone had dirt all over their hands and just wiped it all over the door, the restroom…wow! The toilet seat had been altered to what seems like to accommodate a larger person meaning the front of it had been cut out further and sanded down and not a professional either, the bottom of the tub was so stained that it was disgusting, I showered with my flip flops on, the towels smelled like mildew, and here’s the best part the COFFEE MAKER was set up RIGHT NEXT to the TOLIET. my husband walked across the floor and the bottoms of his socks were black from the floor. We also didn’t have any type of blanket just a flat sheet and a cover that was as thin as a sheet, then I saw the edge of the pillow that had come out of the case and it was stained brown and filthy. It was a quiet stay, but just disgusting and the pool was empty and unavailable. I say DO BETTER, definitely was not worth the 80.00 something dollars we paid, more like it should’ve been more like 39.99 if that!
Very disappointed. I contacted Wyndham directly for reservations, King smoking room. The representative informed me that it was the last one available. When we arrived the clerk gave us a choice a double queen smoking room or a king non-smoking room, informing us that the room that I reserved was no longer available. I was not very happy, however having the king bed is more important than being in a smoking room. The room smelled stale and moldy, we bought air freshener to help it smell better. It was probably a smoking room at one time, or other guests smoke in it even though it's considered a non"smoking room. We didn't know if or when the light above the sink would turn on. The bathtub was really disappointing and disgusting, with a grey/black ring around it and in it. Mold on the shower curtain in several spots. Could have used a chair for the table/desk. Very thankful that it was pet friendly. The bed was absolutely amazing, for size and comfort. The bed itself was truly the best part of the experience! The fridge was clean, the air conditioner and TV both worked. We paid $135 for one night in this room and it really was not worth it. Also happy about the gas station next door. The motel is not in a bad area, and could use some updates on the outside.
Clean no issues priced well has basic features fridge microwave sink tv kind of smaller rooms but beats any shelter or campingRooms: 5/5
