Days of Thunder Historic Barn, Mooresville, NC

It was so cool to see a place I've seen in a movie at least 100 times. We were free to explore on our own. It's a free standing barn on an empty lot. Beautiful old barn used in the movie Days of Thunder. So much charm, if these boards could talk. The history and stories that have seen and heard could fill pages upon pages

If you’re a Days of Thunder fan and in the area, better come visit this spot quick! Still standing but for who knows how long, and many new buildings all around it. Close your eyes and you can hear Harry Hyde welding the body on that old Lumina.

It's a barn with a silo. Cannot enter. Full of debris, lumber and boxes. Easy to miss the turn in. There was a pumpkin sale going on when I visited

Interesting barn... The area can muddy. I was going to walk the trail around it, but decided not to because some area was muddy. The barn is big and filled with stuff. Not sure if it is being used. I need to watch the movie again.

Neat spot. Not really one you can visit but they do have a farmers market next door and sell trees there around Christamas.

Went to get a Christmas trees. They were so fast and efficient. The trees are beautiful and perfect. Their free apple cider was a huge bonus too, it was the best cider we've ever had!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
