Daytona Beach C.E.R.T ARC each Emergency Services with backup communications for special events and natural disasters
Daytona Beach is the active “Special Events” capital of Florida, hosting multiple large-scale national and international events, is highly vulnerable to weather disasters, transportation emergencies and other significant emergencies. CERT team members have proven to be a valuable additional resource during these events and major emergencies such as the 2004 hurricanes.
We meet at the Daytona Beach Police Department Headquarters on the 2nd Wednesday of each month (except December) at 7:30 PM local time.
