Great place to hook up your trailer, fifth wheel, or just rent a villa! Attentive staff, great front office, and plenty of surrounding amenities.Rooms: 5/5
I called to make a reservation and I was turned down even though my 2004 winnabago adventurer had a new paint job they said that they do not take anything over 10 yrs. That's a crock and I will no longer tell people to camp there as far as they go they can go to hell
After staying here for over 20 years 1 month every spring, I'm not allowed to stay there any more. No transient campers allowed. Will never come back there again.
Great place with clean showers. Most people there are very friendly and I always enjoy my visit. The pool is usually very clean. It’s next door to the police station so things stay pretty low key. Thanks for a great experience!
Very rude staff. I give 2 stars because we enjoyed the time that we weren't around the staff. We left the day after Hurricane lan, and the night of the hurricane, we had to move to high ground to escape rising water. The next day, amid drying things out, assessing damage, and reclaiming out tow dolly from 16" of water, the staff was literally shouting at us to leave since it was our last day. I received a very rude phone call about moving our rv from the high ground we retreated to, and as we were packing up, one of the maintenance people started yelling at my wife about how we have to leave. Even in non-emergency situation, a late check-out isn't unheard of. The final interactions with the staff left a sour taste in my mouth, and we will not be returning because of that. Nice park, rude staff.
Couch was infested with bedbugs, and the property manager couldn't care less. She couldn't manage a McDonald's, let alone anywhere else. We had to buy a steamer and air mattress to get rid of the bugs, and were told we would get our money back for the steamer and mattress from the office. When we went to get it, she kicked us out without paying us back AFTER MAKING US SIGN A PAPER SAYING WE RECEIVED THE MONEY, and I had to go back inside and risk getting the cops called just to get the 60$. She said we were liars and that we staged the pictures. She refused to go to the unit and check for herself because she knew that the bugs were there. Do not stay here, and if the manager is reading this, I hope you lose your job. All we wanted was a nice weekend to enjoy the music festival, but you had to be a b****. Here is a picture of the bed bug eggs that I found after sitting in them for 30 minutes.
Loved our stay here! So close to all the main attractions. Quiet and peaceful. Sites are paved with beautiful brick and are generously sized. The bath house is gorgeous and huuuge! Loved the decor. Very pretty.
Been staying here for several weeks in my travel trailer. I have zero complaints! The laundry facility is great, the pool and other activities appear clean and welcoming. The whole place is very very clean. Would highly recommend. Also, what little service I have required has been great. Very polite and professional.
We came here for a weekend trip in our travel trailer. There wasn't much to see or do, but we booked this place for it's proximity to the beach. Honestly it was a bit pricey though considering you still have a drive to the beach. Overall the commute to the beach was quite short so that was a plus. It seems that most visitors at this park have been there for a while and possibly even live there, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I didn't really get a weekend relaxation feel. It's quite, quaint and basically a clean RV parking lot. We picked one of the sites in the big rig section and I'm happy we did. The rest of the spots were sitting on top of each other. Super Con that I've noticed with the Sun Resorts franchise - once you pick a site# when booking you better write it down before you make your payment. Had I not had a photographic memory we would have been completely lost as we arrived after office hours and there was nobody there to help you out with our site# or how to find it. I guessed based off of what I remembered and luckily it was correct.
I don't live here but only know several folks that do and I'm here to tell you from personal experience you won't be happy here! No shade, it's a campground with no fires AND no trees??? Don't make sense! Then most lots need a small water vessel to get from your camper to your parking spot next to your camper which also means part of your camper is under water too! The monthly fee is another matter, around 700 bucks a month to be shoved into a communist driven campground like a bunch of sardines! They owners of this place are definitely taking advantage of their campers and they're lucky I didnt end up living there because I'd assure that there'd be NO HAPPY CAMPERS!! We're blessed to be where we are now and it's a fantastic little place with trees and a swimming pool and oh and I don't need a dug out canoe to get to my vehicle above water!! I am not disgruntled nor have I any real dealings with them. Just the facts of it. No more no less!
