Dothan City Schools Head Start & Preschool Center is located in Dothan, Al. We are a pre-kindergarten school who services over 350 students each year.
Our Head Start & Preschool Center partnerships with Houston County Schools in order to have 4 county off sites. They are located in Ashford, Webb, Cottonwood and Rehobeth. We also have an off site at Faine Elementary. At our main center in Dothan, our students include 13 Head Start classrooms, 2 Office of School Readiness State Pre-K classrooms, 2 PHP / Peer Modeling classrooms and other services like Speech and Therapy.
We strive to promote school readiness for students preparing to enter kindergarten.
