The resort is an incredibly fantastic experience. The staff was Extremely friendly and very helpful including to he cleanliness of laundry, bathrooms and showers. I would love to become a full time resident. This would be an excellent resort to retire.Rooms: 5/5
Went to this location for a Burning Man gathering art/music/community called YOUtopia. First time at venue, and really enjoyed it. Many lovely walking paths, pool, Cafe, It's a clothing optional venue, and like many of those, generally has a bit older crowd retired hippies. They have many permanent residents in mobile home type spots, some RV hookups and a few hostel type rooms available. Walkability: Unpaved and a bit rough - some small ADA compliant areas but mostly not. That said, manky amazing trails.
Used to be an awesome place to relax and unwind clothesfree. The new owners have changed their policy, it is no longer clothing optional. It's just another desert RV trailer park, now. I'd suggest camping in Joshua Tree or Anza Borrego.
I love this place. I’ve been a member for 12 or 13 years now. Pools are now clothing optional. This is new as they’ve always been nude only in the past . Volleyball indoor pool is still nude only. Great fun , super people. Addictive place. Come on down!! Safety: The people and the staff Walkability: Many, many trails Food & drinks: Excellent value. Pizza now by Manzanita pizza…the best!!!
Had a day pass to enjoy some clothing optional swimming. The staff was very friendly and enjoyed our visit.Service: 4/5
There is great landscaping and horrible landscaping and you can tell there are more than 2 people doing landscaping, beautiful landscaping makes me wanna go back! The landscaper that has been doing great work should get a huge raise! He needs to come landscape my yard I would pay him what he's worth! You can definitely tell which landscaper is doing his job right and needs a huge raise! Keep up the great work! Apparently they fired the best landscaper, bc of his landscaping and bc he touched a snake on his day off!
Awesome place, Looking to be a part time-resident. For all those saying the entry road is wash board. Speed up a bit and it goes away. It could be grated but it will only return.Location: 5/5
The staff here is incredibly helpful and kind, the natural environment is gorgeous, and the residents of the community are very welcoming. The new management is clearly making major changes to the infrastructure and events calendar, and trying to breathe youthful life into a slightly older community. The facilities are clean and regularly maintained, the hiking trails are gorgeous, and the pools are great especially early morning and evening, when you can almost have them to yourself!. I came here for the first time a few months ago, fell in love with the place, and have been back many times since. You won't be disappointed—just open your mind and relax!
Very sadly, this resort is losing its clothing optional status on 1st September 2023. I will no longer be visiting. The naturist community feels betrayed.
It's an awesome tiny hotel and an RV park. It hosts festivals, short-term guests, and residents. Beautiful people hang here. Walkability: Awesome nature trails with views for miles. Noteworthy details: Clothing optional.
