Located in Debert Nova Scotia, the Debert Hospitality offers an affordable and central training facility. All your conference and special needs.
The Debert Hospitality Centre (DHC) was originally constructed as a military lodging facility through the years of 1978 to 1996. The building was primarily used to host members of the Royal Canadian Air Force. We can only imagine the good times that were had between these walls!
In the year 2002, two local businessmen Derek Taylor and Leonard Dash struck an idea that they couldn’t pass up. One look at the unoccupied building and they realized there is bedrooms, conference rooms, a full size kitchen that can literally feed an army, 10 acres of land - it was a great opportunity just waiting for the right people. This idea ultimately made us the family run business that we are today.
Of course there was work and renovations that needed to be done. Many areas of the facility have been renovated while maintaining it’s historic charm and character.
Some of the updates we have done are:
-New Flooring
-Updated Conference Rooms
-Updated check-in / reception area
-New Roof (entire building)
-Fitness Area
-Heat/air conditioning systems
-In ground heated pool and hot tubs
