I've shopped the big box stores before for appliances but never again. Our experience with Todd from Decker and Sons was outstanding. He was able to get us our KitchenAid wall oven when the big box stores couldn't and at a competitive price. Todd kept us informed as to when it would arrive and when Whirlpool had a glitch on their end he served as our liaison...solving the hiccup. We will be back! Thank you, Steve & Maria W
Look. Go to Decker & Sons and see David Jr. We remodeled our kitchen during COVID at peak supply chain challenges and David spent a lot of time with us, providing options, working through prices, get us the best price and keeping us updated as we waited for our orders. He also owned an arduous rebate submission process for us, making sure we got all of our money back. That kind of service is valuable. More valuable than that, was when one of the appliances failed not long after the warranty expired. When the manufacturer failed to take action David became our superhero. He spent countless hours tracking down a solution and got us cared for without us having to spend another dollar. We appreciate him and the Decker & Sons team more than we can express! Best price or not - they are our appliance provider for life now!
Excellent service, outstanding products. Delivery & installation of GE washer was on-time and went smoothly. Even took the old one away for small fee. My favorite appliance store.
This will be where I will be purchasing all of my major appliances going forward. Great pricing, great service and great install by Dan. Love that I can pick up the phone and talk to someone about my pending order or an appliance that has already been installed.
I recall going to Decker with my mother when I was a child. I too have bought several appliances and TV's there throughout the years. Imagine my surprise when I went there today 1/13/23 to look for a new TV, and was told that Decker no longer sells TV's. What a huge disappointment!
Sales person was very professional and personable. Delivery people were very respectful, kind, and informative during installation.
The staff here is great, and they have a big selection. The sales people really know the industry. The delivery drivers are quite skilled and knowledgeable, as well. This is the ONLY place I have ever bought appliances, and it probably is the only place I ever will! A lot of my family members have starting coming here when they need stoves, washers, dryers, and everything else appliance-related! I highly recommend Decker and Sons Appliance to anyone in the West Michigan area.
We purchased a washer and dryer over the phone from Decker and Sons and it was seamless from start to finish! We had the appliances delivered and installed and old ones hauled away! They were respectful to delivery time when they called and installation was clean and flawless! Highly recommend!
Long time customer at Decker . Replaced kitchen appliances last fall . Always a good experience from time of sale to delivery. Worked with me to quickly get a refrigerator that fit after ordered unit would not fit through the door. Only store we will use for appliances.
I brought a Gladiator Refrigerator and Freezer from Decker and Son and res on or about June 24, 2021. I was and still am horrified about what happen after it was delivered. I get straight to the points. 1. The refrigerator did not work. Lost all my food that weekend. Call Decker and Sons, they call service they came out later that week and found out that the temperature control panel was out. Also the refrigerator was registered in someone else name and before the service man could assist me I had to show him my receipt that I had brought it. 2.The part was ordered and when it came in another service call was made. At this time the foot level had gone out. He order that part and said they would call when it came in. 3. Call Decker and Sons again the refrigerator is not keeping my food cold and more food had spoiled. I was told to get a thermometer and check the temperature. I brought one at Gordon Foods. The temperature was 60%F. after 12 hours. Call back and they said a service person was scheduled and to wait. I did. 4. Next week my freezer went completely out ,blowing warm air. I lost all my food in the freezer. Everything was gone. I call Decker and Sons and told them this is not acceptable. They wanted me to wait for the repair person who was schedule for Saturday August 14, This is 12th what was I suppose to do with the food, let it set there until the repair man comes or what. I request a pick up, refund and compensation for the lost of my food. 5. The delivery person came to pick up both appliances and said they where shocked and showed them the video of the food that was lost. They apologized the delivery persons for what I went through . 6. My account was credited 2 days later but never received compensation for food lost in the refrigerator nor freezer. And the appliances were under warranty. I only had them less than 6 weeks. I would not recommend this store to anyone for sales or service
