Michael & Siedah Robinson reside in Fredericksburg, Virginia. They have been happily married since December 22, 2011. They have four beautiful sons; 12, 4, 2 and 16 months and are expecting their daughter in August. Siedah started her natural journey back in March of 2009. She eliminated processing her hair and began using all natural African black soap, which she was introduced to by her sister Shaakirah Asad. Siedah introduced black soap and shea butter to Michael and they have been faithfully using it. Their four year old son has had severe eczema since birth. They had tried every type of topical cream prescribed by physicians. The creams have done more hurt than help, from skin discoloration, to dryness and irritability. In February of 2017 after much prayer for guidance, The Robinson's decided to use their gifts to create their own all natural hair and skin care product line. Deep Rooted was the name chosen for the company, inspired by an idea for a tattoo Michael had visually designed in 2008. The scripture for Deep Rooted comes out of John 15: 4,5: "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."
