We were treated horrible, it was embarrassing and awful experience, I would advice no one to go there! Especially someone coming from another state. They said they would not assist us. Just all around bad experience from the pharmacist Dan! We use word of mouth to spread the word of great service and the pharmacist was unprofessional in the way he handled the situation.

Boone Drugs Deerfield is like most businesses in Boone, the county and surrounding in general, unusually helpful, supportive people.. doesn't feel like a national chain. Boone car or bike mechanics, appliance repair, gas stations & drug clinics, local police & attys, local bars, schools, building inspectors, or drivers, it's a remarkable place. I grew up south of Baltimore, very grateful Fate Guess I do believe in God led me here...

This pharmacy is an approved vendor for durable medical equipment. I am trying to order a breast pump--which my insurance company covers in my third trimester and which I have a prescription for. I went to the pharmacy twice to try and order it. The first time, the woman at the desk told me to get a prescription for it before ordering which I then did and that my insurance company wouldn't cover the pump until after birth which is not true. When I returned to the pharmacy with the required prescription, she said it is the pharmacy's policy to not order a pump until after the birth of the baby. I think this is a terrible policy--I would like the pump ahead of time to learn how to use it, rather than wait until I am newly postpartum with a newborn. The reasoning for their policy is not clear to me. When I tried to ask about which pumps would be available, the woman at the desk told me that "all of them" would be available. In this time of supply chain issues, and hearing from companies that make pumps that there are sometimes delays--I don't trust this information. My experience with this pharmacy is that they are unhelpful. If you can, look elsewhere for your needs.

Update! Two different managers contacted me and worked to resolve my complaint. They held the Mask Mate I selected to replace the defective one AND gave me the money back, although I insisted that wasn't necessary. Even the cashier different than the initial one was pleasant and helpful this time. Thank You Boone Drug on Deerfield Road, for rectifying an unpleasant customer experience! My sister bought a Mask Mate for me at this store; I opened it yesterday to wear it for the first time and it was broken. I stopped in yesterday to see if they would exchange it; they would not, without a receipt. They could easily have checked the tag/UPC on the package it came in that I had and seen that it came from their store. They had a row of these on hand, so could have exchanged it. Only $5.99, but poor customer service with not exchanging the defective Mask Mate. It was a gift, so of course I didn't have a receipt. I have shopped here often, but will not do so again.

I looked at CVS, Walgreens, and Boone Drug for a certain medication and Boone Drug had it in stock and it was more affordable! Boone Drug at Deerfield also has a great selection of gifts, I got my Mother's and Father's Day gifts to my parents from here this year. I will definitely be returning!

I went in for a jug of distilled water. They wasn't any on the shelf so the druggist, himself, went downstairs and carried some up for me. There's also a very nice gift section, although some things seem overpriced. The drugstore has been in business for 100 years, however, so I don't think you'll regret going.

I try to support businesses owned by local folks, and Boone Drug at Deerfield has been my choice for years. The staff throughout the store are always helpful, friendly and professional. Recently, I was out of the High Country and running out of a prescription. One call to Boone Drug @ Deerfield a lovely employee was ready and eager to assist and ensured that my meds were promptly shipped so that I was covered. I also appreciate the ability to order online and the phone calls they make to customers. Thank you Boone Drug & to all of the employees who make exemplary and personal service a reality.

Very nice people here. The best pharmacy as an actual human answers the phone more promptly than any other pharmacy I've been to.

The compassionate and prompt service I received was so appreciated. They delivered medication to my sick child very quickly. Before any large pharmacy would even answer my call, this local business had a prescription at her door!
