DEEZ Bar & Grill

Had a great supper there today. Wasn't busy as it was after the long weekend. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We had mussels salmon scallops and fish and chips with some cold beverages. Would definitely recommend this place Recommended dishesFish & Chips

Myself and my family have been going to Deez for years. Always GREAT food and good atmosphere with reasonable prices. 12 August 2023 we took out of town family for what we expected would be a wonderful dining experience. VERY sadly disappointed. The schnitzel was mushy - should not be served on top of the mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the steak sandwich - it was a very small piece of steak..about 3 inches by 1 and a half...blue, not med rare and there was a big chunk of gristle on one side. Waitress, Rose, was FANTASTIC! Food... not so much. Wont be coming back for a long while

I was happy to find this place open on the Labor Day holiday when everything else in Qualicum Beach was closed. I was blown away by how good the blue cheese burger was; perfect amount of cheese and onions. I definitely will come back here again.Food: 5/5

It's a bit of a rowdy bar crowd. But the fish and chips were exceptional and the service was also exceptional. If you can handle loud drunk people, the food and service is worth it.Food: 4/5

Food was not nearly as good as the last time I was there. The surcharges were a bit high and in addition to that, when my wife's asked to have some mayo, they charged an extra dollar. At least the server was kind and understanding. Place needs a good renovation and the nickle and dining for little things like mayo is not the best business practice in my opinion.

Nice patio. Friendly staff. Food was flavourful and good portions, everyone was happy with their meal. The crispy chicken burger was yummy, beef dip was a bit messy but also enjoyed and we had the BLT sandwich and added an egg, for also a winFood: 4/5

I went here a few times and the waitresses were always nice and the Turkey club sandwich was excellent!

Had lunch here a few days ago. Place only had three tables occupied at 1 pm and yet took an hour to get our food. Waiter was very apologetic however I can see no reason for such a delay. Had the Turkey and Brie Cheese sandwich - nothing special. Deez used to make a fantastic Turkey Club which is no longer available. Beef Dip roast beef was not very tender either. Fries are different than before as well. Used to be my go to for the Turkey Club. Wanted to try out the new menu after new owners took over but unfortunately I won't be back.

Took my daughter and grands on wing night. Manager fit us in, no problem even without a reservation although I would advise doing that.. Fast service, great wings and local beers on tap. Kid-friendliness: No issues, sitting in the dining room. If you want an adult experience, just sit up at the bar.

First time visit while stopping in town for an afternoon at the beach. We had the full order of nachos and the Greek platter with chicken. Both were tasty and great value - more than enough for two people. The nachos were stacked three or four layers deep with lots of toppings throughout and tons of cheese. Good selection of drinks, with some local breweries on the taps always good to see. We sat on the patio which is large and has lots of umbrellas for shade. It faces the main road, but is set far enough back that the road noise isn't an issue. Will be back again for another rnacho platter next time we're in town! Parking: Lots of parking available
