Mission

Jewelry reflects the artistic taste of the wearer. Oscar Wilde stated, "One should be a work of art or wear a work of art." I approach jewelry as miniature sculpture, to be viewed from all sides and yet be functional to enhance the body. Being influenced by sea forms and nature I have developed a style - that of soft curving lines. Design elements of balance, form and color are incorporated into each piece. I believe the quality of the craftsmanship and materials are equal to the integrity of the design.

Special thanks to Dennis for creating the Wedding Band Pendant for me. I had a vision and Dennis worked with me on a design that will be cherished in remembrance of the 48+ years of marriage I had with my late husband.
You cannot find a better, more talented, service-oriented artist and business than deJonghe’s. We are 40-year customers. All pieces we’ve purchased remain unique and classic, and repairs if ever needed are done with the same skill. Panache, they have.
I have been a customer since Dennis first opened on Caroline Street. He and his family make me feel welcome and right at home every time I come in the store. Dennis designed a ring for me in the early 90's that i NEVER take off and always get complimented on. You MUST stop in to see all the beautiful creations. You will feel right at home too.

Had a fantastic experience here. My middle diamond fell out of my engagement ring thank God my husband found it in our diaper bag! and we took it in to Dennis. He showed us the ring through a magnifying glass, and how compromised the diamonds were due to the way the ring was made. We ended up redoing the whole ring keeping the same diamond and same style, but ensuring the ring and diamond will last forever. They did an incredible job. Before, the diamond was held in place by four prongs but he used a “bezel” to keep it there. I think it makes the ring look even more spectacular. Would definitely trust this family-run jeweler with future purchases as well!
Evan and Dennis family and staff as well are absolutely incredible! Everyone is so kind and welcoming. They designed my wife's engagement ring a few years ago which we loved and recently decided to increase the diamond size. They worked with us to design a new ring and it is stunning! Thank you deJonghe!
Evan and his team at deJonghe designed the PERFECT engagement ring for my fiancé! She absolutely loved the final product. Evan was very patient with me during the entire design process. Even though I live hundreds of miles away, he nailed the design. He listened to exactly what I was looking for in an engagement ring and brought my entire idea to life.
