The East Precinct strives to have one of the safest areas in the county
and state. We will accomplish this objective by raising the standards
within the Police Department. We will form meaningful
partnerships/relationships with the Department’s employees, county
officials, and the communities; neighborhoods, businesses, faith base,
and news media. We are committed to preventing and reducing crime
using several methods: crime prevention and suppression programs, redevelopment of neighborhoods and problem solving policing. We will
attempt to retain officers who are professional, committed, dedicated,
educated, caring, and empathetic to all of whom we protect and serve.
