The goal of Del Mar Hills Nursery School is to provide a joyful, loving environment in which children can grow and develop. We feel that this can be accomplished by providing a well trained teaching staff, daily planning of quality activities, and working in partnership with families. Parents are encouraged to participate in the program. We want each child to feel safe and secure at our school through trusting relationships established with other children and adults. Each relationship is founded upon respect. We feel that play is the most important work for young children. Our environment is meant to guide the child through quality play experiences. Each area the child chooses to play in will provide experiences in creative, cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. In this way we address the growing need of the whole child.
