I have been going to Del Mar Nail Bar for a few years on and off and have never had a problem with the quality of my manicure or pedicure until this last time. I went in wanting to get a simple acrylic gel manicure for an important wedding I have coming up. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted. I left the salon unhappy with the shape and color. After only a few days my manicure looked grown out and not good at all. I called to ask if they would be willing to discount me if I came back in for them to fix it and they told me I would have to pay full price for them to fully redue them. I will not be going back.
Read about the good rating before making my reservation. My reservation was booked online. After not receiving a confirmation I called in to double check, but the phone line was out of service. We arrived on our booked time, but no one was reserved for us. However, we did end up getting the service. I would say... had definitely had better service and gel manicure elsewhere.

This place STRONGLY prefers cash payments. I wish I would have known this before going in so I was prepared and would have saved me stress/ frustration. There’s no mention of this on their website or in any other reviews! I find it a bit strange that a business in such a large upscale shopping center still does this with the plethora of payment options available today. Anyways, my services were good and the staff was friendly. Clean place with reasonable prices. The cash payment kind of rubbed me the wrong way so I’m not sure if I’ll be back.
Had a very pleasant experience here! Had reservations for a pedicure, staff was very courteous and accommodating. They were very safe with covid - everyone had safe distance between them and all were wearing masks. I’m not someone who regularly gets my nails done but I’d certainly recommend this place to anyone!

I had a gel pedicure, no appt just walked in and was seated right away. The technician Ha was very detailed in pedicure & especially her gel application. Her polishing skills are on point and she ensures to clean around edges of the toes. So if your particular when it comes to polish application and being detailed and don’t mind the extra bit of time it takes she’s your girl! Nice clean place as well.
I absolutely loved it here! I came in for a fill With my brother and They were all So nice and so inviting. Offered my brother and I drinks and everything. Kathy was incredible and was so precise and careful with my hands. Everything about my nails I absolutely loved. I’ve been to many nail salons and this place is definitely my favorite. I don’t want to go to any other salon again.
