Del Taco is one of my favorite fast food spots, especially on long road trips. After visiting 30+ different locations, this is by far the best Del Taco I've been to yet. The whole place was impressively clean, even the bathrooms. The food was super fresh and tasted great. If the kitchen is as clean everything else there, it's no wonder the food is delicious. The staff was very friendly as was the manager. This is going to be my go to stop on hwy 99 from now on. Their sign isn't visible from Hwy 99, but it's very close to the Cecil ave. 99 north bound onramp.
Ordered breakfast tacos and a roller... Delicious! Drive thru is open 24 hours and that made me really happy! The food was hot, tasty, and very filling. I expected a bunch of egg with a dash of bacon and cheese but I was wrong. Every taco had a bunch of eggs, a bunch of cheese, and a bunch of bacon. I couldn't finish my breakfast because I was full after 2 tacos
I went this Sunday morning the first time I've been at this DelTaco. I ordered the Epic steak & potato burrito and it was terrible. The steak was over-cooked and too dry, the potatoes were french fries, not anything like the picture they have on the overhead display. The coffee was excellent. They should rename this burrito the Dry Steak & french fries burrito this way at least the customer knows what he is paying for. I didn't mention anything to the manager, this review should be enough.
While Del Taco food is pretty much the same at each location, the customer service in Delano is exceptional. Very kind staff and accommodating. The manager himself picked up our trays. If you like the Del Taco Delano Facebook page, you can get a free strawberry lemonade.
Great cheap food to eat at any time. On the go, or just a quick bite to eat. They have good vegetarian options, they let you substitute beans for meat, and one of the free Mexican restaurants that have other food to eat, like french fries and burgers. They have multiple items on their dollar or less menu. It's great!
Clean place, bathrooms were clean. Further from freeway than desired but not too difficult to navigate. They put a TON of cold cheese on the tacos than I imagine is necessary... it seems wasteful, especially when the taco is 1/2 cheese and it's falling out because it's overfilled with it.
Great tacos. Tuesday has a special 3 tacos for a $1.25. Bought for my family of 4 $10 worth of tacos A feast. Carnita burritos 2 for $5 More than enough. Del Taco is on High St., by Smart n Final.
Del Taco for me and my family has been a positive, enjoyable, experience, the staff is always friendly 'orders are always on point, this restaurant is always clean. I would continuously din here with my family as often as we can and would recommend this restaurant.
Food is great!! taste fresh not canned you can see them cooking it all on the grill in the back and prepping all the food themselves not taking it all out from plastic bags which gives you peace of mind not many fast food places do that anymore
I have never been so mad in all the times that me and my family have been visiting Del Tacos restaurants. One of our favorites is spicy chicken burritos. In Tulare and Bakersfield we have never had a problem with the burritos, they've always have enough ingredients in them!! Today was different We bought 4 burritos and the only SPICY CHICKEN it had in then was a size teaspoon, 1 tablespoon of beans, and 1 tablespoon of rice??? Really people ??? and they want $15 bucks an hr. Man , my family finished the burritos and were still hungry and usually we are NOT hungry when they are done correctly. Corporate should be ashamed of themselves!! Hopefully the read this and show them how to so them properly, Delano just lost a customer.
