Delair Elementary School PTA

About

This page is for the collaboration of ideas, promotion of events, and all other information relating to Delair Elementary School's PTA.

Description

Welcome to the official Delair Elementary PTA Facebook page! This page is a resource for all of our PTA members, parents, teachers, administrators, and community businesses to find out about upcoming events both within our school and our community, to ask your executive board questions, to share ideas and contacts, and to help further and enrich our children's lives through being active and involved in the most critical years of their lives.

We respectfully ask that you keep all comments positive and constructive in nature and that no child's personal or academic information be posted publicly. If you have any problems, issues, concerns, or private matters to address, please email us at [email protected] or send a private message so that one of the board members can help to the best of our ability.

We also ask that there be NO posts of children's faces at all, and none of adults without their express permission. We value all of our student's privacy and safety, as well as their family's, and our #1 goal is to maintain it.

The operators of the page reserve the right to block any user or delete any posts deemed inappropriate, hurtful, hateful, and/or disparaging. Every one of us understands that sometimes we get frustrated, and we will always do our best to work for our students and our fellow parents to make sure that we are representing all of our members to the best of our ability and in a fair manner. We also understand that, although we will always try, we will never be able to make every person happy all of the time, whether it be due to budget constraints, logistics, or school/district or insurance limitations. That being said, we hope that this page brings together teachers and parents, sharing constructive ideas that can be discussed and/or respectfully debated before the next official meeting and/or vote. Please respect others' right to have a difference in opinion and understand that ONLY registered/paid members of our PTA can vote on any issue (votes will only be held in person during an announced PTA meeting), although all voices will be heard during on-line and PTA meeting discussions.

Thank you for being involved and for helping us make this a GREAT PTA!!

Mission

The PTA's mission is to provide quality, educational, assemblies and programs to every grade, to stand up for and represent our children and their best interest, and to fill in where state and local budgets have left our schools bare. It is also our mission to make school fun and enjoyable by focusing less on fundraising and focusing more on the family, school, child and peer support system. Our goal is to bring STEM programs and the language arts into a fun and enjoyable light, and to further parent involvement in both the classroom and the school. Every child carries a world of potential inside of them - the potential to make a difference, to succeed, and to make our world a better place. It is the PTA's and every member's goal to help bring out that potential, engage their minds, and to help provide the best elementary experience possible. Together, parents, teachers and administrators, are one voice representing all children!
