I love sky club so it’s always fun checking out new ones! I was never at the old one, but the renovated Club is incredible and huge! Not very busy when I went but everything was fully stocked and was great. Can’t wait to go back to ORD to check it out again.
As far as domestic lounges go, this is one of the best. Staff are attentive, drink and food options are solid, seating and restrooms / showers are all best in class for a US lounge. I'd get to the airport an hour early to sit in this one!
Having access to the Delta Sky Club has changed everything about how I experience travel. I don't say that lightly. I want to get to the airport early just to go. I don't mind layovers because I get free food and drinks, charging stations and at some airports, showers. Chicago Delta Sky Club is on the smaller side but ample seating during peak travel. Food isn't gourmet but it is far from par. I recommend to everyone. Great breakfast bar with vegetarian options. The bar is amazing with quality no cost options as well as top shelf that you do have to pay for.
With our first trip to OHare as Delta Medallion / AMEX Reserve card holders, having a 4 hour layover we headed right to the Sky Club which thankfully was right next to our gate E7, and arriving at noon we should have expected things to be bustling but didn't expect a 10 minute wait with the Sky Club at capacity. The staff was very friendly in communicating the wait, and at throughout we were greeted with smiles, and when we got inside, we saw a plethora of open seats. The men's restroom only had 2 stalls & one urinal. The "catacomb" layout was unique, with 3 different food serving area: fruit, chips & coffee near the front by the restroom, sandwiches and salad by the very small bar smallest I've seen yet across the room from the hot bar pastas and soups. Despite the layout, the selection of food choices actually seemed to surpass our home club in Minneapolis, and the location allowed for great views of the interior gates and runways. The longer we were here, the more we observed the amazing customer service at the Ohare location, from the engagement of the staff, offers to bring us drinks, and even one walking around bringing coconut creme pies to members. Blown away by the experience!
busy, as expected, but space available. very clean, amazing staff and a breathtaking space. wow!! marilyn took great care of me at the bar and made my entire experience here. when i arrived there was a mostly full, fresh selection of food. the mac and cheese and roasted brussels sprouts were great! the sandwiches were okay. they have a nice selection of liquor— damrak gin was a happy surprise to see, close in taste to the dutch genever i’m partial to will definitely be back next time!!
BRAND-NEW DELTA SKY CLUB LOUNGE IN O’HARE TERMINAL 5! Huuuge new lounge – signage is a bit confusing at first but tons of space, showers, dedicated wine lounge in addition to usual bars, hot food, fresh food, scanning machine check-in, soundproof phone booths, dedicated service desks, and did I mention tons of space?! It just opened so there was a small army of staff on hand, making sure everything was running smoothly. I also heard you can board flights to LGA and some European partner flights directly from the lounge, which is wild – I didn’t see the dedicated boarding bridges today though. This is a big win for Delta-loyal Chicagoans – really hope they follow this up with more direct flights from ORD to non-hub cities!!
Food was the usual sausage patty, scrambled egg, sausage link, hard boiled egg, bread, muffin, fruits. They also have varities of fruit juices. They have an espresso machine. Staff are attentive .. they clean tables for dirty disbes. Wish they had oatmeal and berries.
Definitely one of my new favorite sky clubs. Lits of comfortable seating, plenty of food options and friendly staff. The only con was that some food items weren't replenished once gone so the plentiful buffet that impressed me when I arrived diminished very quickly.
This place is not all that bad. It is comfortable . Super super super super quiet. Food options are limited so it is what it is. Everything is free . Drinks , food etc. Don’t expect 5 star treatment . This is not the Emirates club . Delta do I fine job here. I’ve read some of the reviews and people need to be open minded. Just because people go to a members lounge they think they are “ entitled “ to special royal treatment . If you want to be treated like royalty go to Buckingham palace All in all a very special experience . Keep Up the good work Delta . You know how to keep customers happy
Pastries, alcoholic and regular drink choices great. Surprisingly decent coffee. Fairly comfy and relaxing divided seating areas designed for individuals or groups and Giant TV scattered around. Food was “so-so” to “unappealing” buffet/fish was cold according to my friends who dined. But my desserts were all good. We had constant table service clearing our dishes. Full disclosure: I was a guest. if I had the extra dough, it was worth it for the 4 hour layover.
