Delta Zeta was founded nationally on October 24, 1902. The Omicron Nu Chapter was founded at the University of Windsor on October 3, 1992.
Delta Zeta has national partnerships with The Starkey Hearing Foundation, Gallaudet University, The House Ear Institute, and The Painted Turtle Camp for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses.
Philanthropy and volunteering is important to our chapter. Locally, we support the Women's Welcome Centre, Relay for Life, Operation Christmas Child, Ambassador Optimist Club, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, MADD, Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, the Canadian Hearing Society, Windsor Humane Society, and more!
We share a common purpose: to make life fuller, more meaningful, more rewarding. Within Delta Zeta, we call it enriching. To our members, it is the promise of friendship, personal development and opportunity. To the community we are valued citizens deeply committed to making a difference where we live. Our promise to our Sorority and our commitment to enrich the world are for a lifetime.
