Dr. Lopes is the Cerebrovascular and Comprehensive Stroke Center Surgical Director of the Advocate Health Care, now part of Advocate Aurora Health - the 10th largest not-for-profit health system in the nation.
Dr. Lopes treats conditions of the brain such as: cerebral ischemia, stroke and the conditions leading up to stroke, and the treatment of brain aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations. He is also bilingual in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
