Great to have a Denny's here in Huntley. Very attentive employees. Clean and strategic location easy to find across from Sun City next to Mobil. Open 24/7 for those early morning or late night hunger pains. Enjoy meeting with our real estate client's here and getting to know each other over a meal. Highly recommended.
Our server was great. Food was okay but then my daughter and I were both sick the following day. The appetizer was put up the same time as our meals, which I can't stand. But the manager did make it right and took it off our bill. And... They took the 20% off digital coupon I had. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant is really good as well.
Waited at least 30 minutes and still never saw our server. It was slow in the , maybe 3 tables. The host sat us down and said our server would be with us shortly. So we looked on the menu for what we wanted and decided and still no server. The boy came back and got our drink order a smoothie and a milkshake. Still waiting for our server to take our order. Then a family came in and sat at the table behind us, after we were there about 20 minutes. About 5 minutes into them being there, a server was at their table taking their order. I've never felt so disrespected and invisible, when I'm suppose to be the customer. Got offered a free meal but I dont even want it, I would never go back.
This was my first time at this location and I was very impressed. Everyone was very friendly and the service was great. We had 2 people serving us 1 was in training The food was very good and was served very fast as well. Our coffee and water glasses were kept filled the whole time, without having to wave anyone over. I highly recommend this place. A+ I ordered the Lumberjack Slam
Just another Denny's. Nothing special. You get what you pay for. We only went here because we knew there wouldn't be a wait like the better restaurants than we normally we go to. Service was good. Food was good for the price we paid. We ordered a ultimate skillet, chocolate chip banana pancakes , and scrambled eggs. Huge tear in the booth we sat in.
I would rather light myself on fire than eat here again. Service is horrible, despite there being zero clientele. Took 30 minutes foe them to realize that they had actually failed to serve us food. The food was ice cold and they made their own salad incorrectly. My dogs could probably run a better establishment and treat the customers better.
Me and my buddies were driving up to Wisconsin for a snowboard trip and decided to stop by at this Denny's. Usually you would expect to have good service at a dennys at any hour. But we came in around 7:30-8am which isn't too early and the server sat us down and gave us our menus. We proceeded to make our selections, I had the lumberjack which you can never go wrong with. But when we were placing our order the server seemed very disgruntled for some reason. She did not seem to have much energy and did not look like she was enjoying her job. Keep in mind it's not too early and there is only 2 other customers in the restraunt so it shouldn't be too big of a deal to take our orders. We got our food and the food was good as always with Denny's. Also the what seemed to be the manager or owner came over and greeted us and seemed to be friendly. Besides the server being upset we had a good experience.
The customer service here is beyond terrible. I've come here more than twice and every single time they cannot get the order right. The food is also cooked in a rush and you can tell by the sloppy display and lukewarm texture. Bottom line, if you want to kill three or four hours to order a snack and get overcharged for stuff you Never ordered go ahead.
It’s Denny’s. You get what you pay for. The food is not fabulous, it’s not terrible. We didn’t have great service. We had to wait 15 minutes for a second set of pancakes. We had to go up to the counter to ask for refills on our drinks. The manager was very nice and gave us a discount on our check.
It was mother's day and it was crowded. I had a party of 12 I got there at 10 to 11 and they said 20 minutes. After 20 minutes I asked and they said another five minutes they're setting it up. After 10 more minutes they're still setting it up. I finally sat down after an hour and they took my order for food and drinks within 5 minutes. After 25 minutes of waiting for the drinks I got up and went for a cup of coffee behind the counter.I was told I should wait patiently and after saying I've been waiting patiently for 25 minutes I fill up a cup and went back to my table. After another 20 minutes no food and I needed another cup of coffee. so I went back to the manager and said I was waiting patiently it's been a long. 25 minutes and no coffee no food and I am the only person in my party of 12 that has received drinks. She said she checked the floor and everyone had coffee. I think she was looking for empty cups we had not even received a cup yet. The food arrived about 20 minutes later and yet no drinks. The drinks arrived 15 minutes after the food. Of course there were no refills and the staff hid. Needless to say I do not recommend this place unless you're willing to wait our total time at the restaurant waiting to finally get their food and eat and leave with 3 hours waisted. I don't think that is a reasonable. I suggest you go other places if you want to eat.
