The lady took pretty good care of our group. The toast I got had no butter flavor. The mash potatoes tasted like instant mashpotatoes. The to go cups are not really good quality. The restaurant is a little dark inside and could us some updating. The resta of the food was decent.Food: 3/5
Photo is plate untouched. Other then adding ketchup. That's your portions now. Let me get this straight. You want me to pay more yet get me less. No more Denny's for me. Ever. $17+ with a $5 tip for that. What a joke.Food: 2/5
08/15/2023 at 18:32 I am a truck driver and I'm always at a Dennys whenever I see one at a flying Js . When I'm down taking my break . Well, Jessica at this location was so nice. She gave me time to look at the menu and was calm and didn't give no problems . Although , Who ever is working in that kitchen needs to go . I got food Togo and when I opened my Togo box all my food look like it was thrown in there and shooken up . All my icing for my pancake is all over my eggs , sausage and potatoes .
Do yourself a favor, don't come to this Dennys. We are on our way to North Carolina and we stopped at Dennys because it is always delicious. All except this one, food overcooked, greasy and poorly presented. Neither my 11 year old son nor I even finished our plates. The nearby tables also commented on the unpleasantness of that food.
Came in around 1am after a shower. Food was perfect, service was perfect, never had to wait for a drink once. One of my best Denny's experiences. My server was Melissa.Food: 5/5
Service was snail paced. No one attended to us for over 5 minutes upon arriving. Only 2 other tables in the restaurant, over 7 employees on the clock. The drinks weren't served until 20 minutes later. Excuse after excuse, after excuse. The restaurant is under lit and lonely. But why were we asked $68 for service we didn't receive? My food came out 49 minutes after I was seated. The food was lukewarm. I never received a drink refill of water. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for syrup and a total of 20 minutes for lemon to add to the water. I'm actually from this area. I attended Glynn County Elementary. I spent my summers at St. Simons. This is not the Brunswick area I know. Denny's is being grossly misrepresented by employees picking favorites of customers. The original server refused to serve us and left us sitting there stating she's going on break. We were seated beside the kitchen so there is nothing to excuse or minimize this abhorrence. Other tables that later arrived received service drinks and food within 10 minutes and less. Why the negligence? Maybe corporate can check the cameras and watch how poorly customers are treated here. My husband went to the front to pay and tell the woman at the counter how much they missed the mark of excellence, and she replied aww, I'm sorry, and walked off. We were charged for a fresh fruit side as well, in which the owner comped and still made us. $3 does not supplant $68. Making excuses to give a free pass to bad employees you hired does not create exceptions. I'm not really sure how this experience could have been any worse. I guess we had to learn how our dollars work. Absolutely reprehensible!! Look at you, the new face of Denny's.
The salad came to me rotten, it had turned pink, I asked the waitress about the other salads, she told me they are all like this!!!! Cutlery were dirty too!! Terrible
We have been waiting for our waiter for ages minutes, asked manager to resolve it, but he only repeated “wait a minute sir…”. As a result it took us 30 minutes to make an order. The diner was not even half full, and only one waiter at lunchtime management of the facility is the poorest I ever saw at Denny’s.
Micaela was my server this evening. She was great. Friendly and attentive. I waited tables years ago in a Denny’s. She took care of me the way I used to take care of my guests. The food came out quick, and everything tasted great. Looking around at the other guests, everyone seems pleased. The other server on the shift seems friendly as well. I am impressed. Thank you guys for not being a typical Flying J Denny’s.
I am allergic to bird and egg and when I asked them to pan fry my country fried steak, they called their boss, and I was refused. I was told their plans were not deep enough. In the end, I ordered the sirloin steak meal. It was cooked just right, along with redskin mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. I just wish they would have been more accommodating I really wanted to country fried steak. Initially, I asked for the spaghetti and meatball dinner, which I learned had been discontinued. Poor choice, many truck drivers favored that meal and would like to have it back. Vegetarian options: The manager tried to get me to get a vegan burger instead of the country fried steak that I wanted because they did not want to deal with my dietary restrictions. In fact, she tried four different times to tell me about the vegan burger and each time I told her that I did not want a hamburger. Parking: There's lots of parking spaces available and access for handicap parking. Kid-friendliness: It has a kid friendly atmosphere like any other restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: There's handicap parking and handicapped-accessible entryways. The showers are not handicapped accessible they have a big lip that has to be stepped over in order to get into the shower.
