A practicing general dentist in Massachusetts, recognized the difficulty his patients had in locating and purchasing exactly the oral health products he was recommending. He realized that while dentists make specific recommendations based on patients' individual needs and conditions, the wide variety of seemingly similar products and brands made it confusing and sometimes difficult for patients to find exactly the right items.

So, in 1995, The doctor founded the Dental Depot.
