We had an extremely bad experience calling this practice today. The call was attended by Carla. I was trying to get an appointment with Dr Ezzo who's name I got through a referral. During the process of gaining the appointment , Carla asked for the Social Security number. I mentioned to her that I already provided the insurance name, group insurance id and member Id. I have never been asked for the Social Security number on the phone and I am always hesitant to provide it through the phone . When I mentioned that to her, she banged the phone after saying " I don’t not want to deal with you if you cannot give me your social security number, You can go to any other surgeon" . I was shocked at this careless and extremely arrogant attitude. I also mentioned to her that the website says Open Saturday 8-5 and asked to get it corrected. She did not like that at all and argued it was by appt only, while that was not mentioned anywhere in the website. I see the hours have been corrected now. I got an appointment with another surgeon, without giving my social over the phone. The only thing I can say is : If the practice is used to asking the social security number on the phone, it needs to stop ! This is extremely callous behavior and uncalled for! If the front desk person does not understand the gravity of the situation in this age of digital hacking, then it is high time they are educated! Carla did not seem to know the difference between in office transaction and over the phone enquiry. The first door to any customer based business is that first phone call. It is helpful for any customer based business to know that! Security is everyone's responsibility. Protect your information! Do not provide Social Security through a phone call no matter who is asking for it! Be safe!
Nothing but the best experience every single time! Vastly knowledgeable doctor who cares very much for his patients! Carla is immensely helpful and professional! They are absolutely the Best in the DFW area.
Fantastic place! It was my first experience with it. I have been in pain for two days, and when my current dentist asked Dr. Xu to help me, he scheduled the appointment immediately. I was grateful that the office was able to accommodate me. When I walked in, I was greeted by Alicia who was pleasant and polite. Dr. Xu and his staff really saved me. His technical skills and bedside manners were outstanding. His assistant was very caring and professional. I will definitely go back for anything I need. Definitely recommend!
I was referred to Dr Ezzo after having broken a front tooth during a Racquetball game. I could not have been happier with his offices ability to evaluate me quickly. Dr Ezzo's demeanor, knowledge and thoughtful honesty truly helped me acess my situation and make an informed decision on what to do. I choose an extraction/implant and Dr Ezzo and his staff allowed me time over the weekend to consider the decision while still preparing for a likely yes. Many options for my comfort and pain management were offered and discussed and the procedure went very smoothly. Everyone was focused and relaxed throughout the procedure. I felt like I was in caring hands throughout the process. Still have some follow up visits to complete the replacement, but I just wanted to profess my appreciation to Dr Ezzo and his team. Thank you.
My wife had a complete upper dental implant done here. The staff was exceptional. The facilities were nice and clean, with plenty of good coffee for me out in the waiting room. The surgeon, Dr. Quamar did an exellent job. He is very caring, and it shows in the way he took care of my wife. Most importantly, is my wife's smile looks absolutely beautiful. We both could not be happier. Thank you Dr. Quamar.
Dr Ezzo seemed very nice but the office manage Karla is insensitive,dishonest and very rude. Made alot of errors with billing , when I questioned her about the charges she got extremely upset when I asked to see pictures of other patients that had the All on 4 implants , she picked a fight and released me therefore refusing to treat me. The "free" consult is NOT FREE they sent the bill to my insurance regardless .They took their money without my knowledge. I will be reporting her .Its a shame that Karla is representing Dr Ezzo because I feel that he was a good dentist and probably could've helped me but because of her I'll never know . I sat there with an abscess, a swollen face ,in pain and because I questioned her billing and why the cost was changing each time she sat down she called me frustrating ? i'm sorry it's a $25,000 procedure I have a right to ask questions ...and ask to see pictures .unbelievable !!! BEWARE- the staff does post positive reviews to raise tbe rating . .
Dr. Paul and everyone there have been outstanding. Plain and simple I hate the dentist. Like afraid of sharks afraid. But they explained everything, clearly outlined my options, and then made it work. I went from the behind the hand chuckle to an honest open laugh again. I couldn't be happier. Best decision EVER. Only down side, my wife found them for me so I'll never live that part down. But seriously this had been the best dental experience of my life.
I needed a dental implant due to a botch filling. The previous dentist caused a fracture, to a tooth that never needed a filling, which required removal of my molar. After the removal of my molar I was so traumatized that I waited 10 years to have an implant placed. I received quotes from 4 different dentists, and then I found Dr. Schinedling. He answered every single question I had and was very patient. I never once felt rushed or overwhelmed. I even cried during my consultation because I was so nervous and scared and was very sympathetic. His prices were comparable to other dentist in the area and I love his support/office staff. I NEVER felt as if he was overpricing my procedure or charging for items I didn't need. Everything was upfront and very easy to understand. At that point I decided to allow him to place my implant and I DON’T regret it. It was quick and PAINLESS. I was awake the whole time and didn't feel a thing. I believe I even giggle at one point. People...he had to drill a hole in the bone of my jaw AND I DIDN’T FEEL ANYTHING. That speaks volumes to me. I was slightly sore after the procedure which is expected and I healed quickly. My implant is still going strong and I've NEVER had an issue. The follow up was great after the procedure was great Dr. Schinedling and staff was great! Fast-forward to 05/01/15........ I needed all four of my wisdom teeth removed. I waited years to complete this due to cost and fear. Initially I didn't call Dr. Schinedling because he wasn't on my list of covered dentist. I received two quotes from two different dentists and decided to call Dr. Schinedling to see what the cost would be out of pocket. I was so excited to hear he took my insurance and it was cheaper than the other quotes. I had my consultation on Wednesday and my procedure completed on Friday. It was a very easy procedure. Again, I felt NO PAIN during the procedure. I was fully awake with gas and I had NO PAIN during the procedure. After the procedure I was a little swollen and a little sore. I took 2 tramadol the first day and after that I took Advil a few times. As I write this review, I am 4 days post-op and eating/drinking/talking fine without PAIN. I will choose Dr. Schinedling for any future procedures needed and I do recommend him to anyone that needs a great surgeon.
the place was clean and the staff was nice although the consult is not free its 345 to get a catscan for them to evaluate you. this is the simple reason I chose to go else where, if you advertise fee consults then it needs to be free ! the treatment lady is over friendly because she is not a treatment specialist she is there sales rep that's clear to see. not happy with the experience or the lack of honesty
Dr. Xu is great! I needed a root canal and the procedure went smoothly. I didn’t have any pain during the procedure and he has amazing bedside manner. Thanks dr. Xu!
