Feel like Dr. McMillan and the many hygienist that were there just sat and watched my teeth get bad. I was under the periodontal care and was suppose to get a deep cleaning every 2 years which is different from the regular cleaning that I was getting every 4 months not 6. Dr. McMillan would come and look at my teeth after the cleanings with pockets of 5 and 6 and never mentioned it was time for a deep cleaning nor did the hygienist. I didn't even know that I was suppose to be getting these deeper cleaning every 2 years until a new hygienist came in and told me and I wish I knew her name to give her credit. How a dentist office don't keep up with a patients care of gum disease?? I am so very disappointed in this office and with my dentist that I will not be returning! Oh I didn't mention that I've been going here over 15yrs!! My periodontal treatment was not handled properly!!!! Oh and we won't talk about when you get new insurance, how they don't know nothing until you take off to come in, then they tell you that your insurance won't do this and won't do that when you can do that over the phone. You all deal with insurance everyday, you should be able to give the customer information on how it works before they come to you!!
Sounds strange but I actually enjoy my dentist office. Dr. McMillian is always available and friendly but just as well every doctor has been just as pleasant and when the staff is pleasant and laughing and smiling in a professional setting you know you have reached either a well oiled machine or a group that respects each other as family. Service has always been timely and efficient. I'll always be there with the present staff.
Greetings. This review is for hygienist Darlene who diagnosed me for periodontal disease. I’ve learned recently I DO NOT have periodontal disease from seeing a periodontal doctor. If I had periodontal disease I would not be a a candidate to receive an implant. Please seek a periodontal doctor before excepting this treatment.
This place must have paid 551 people to give them good reviews to have even a 1 star rating on google' let alone a 5 star rating! This place takes advantage of seniors and try to encourage you to finance services with "Care Credit" even if you tell them you HAVE CASH!! I would not take a toothless dog here to have work done!!! I mean from the front desk to the actual so called dentist doing the work!!! Please people look into you local private practice dentistry's, instead of going into these "FRANCHISED Micky D's, pop up shop dentistry's like "Delta One!" All they want is your-----$$$$$$$$$$$ and lie to you about the care and the condition of your needs.
Full transparency, I was highly upset that I had chosen an HMO dental plan and was unable to choose my provider. After conceding to defeat and needing to see a dentist asap, I made the appointment and visited Dental One in College Park. I couldn’t have been happier. It is important to me to have people that look like me be the providers of my healthcare. The entire office was professional, accommodating and supportive. From the front desk to the Dental Assistant to the Dental Hygienist. My experience has been nothing short of amazing.
I thought this would be a great dental office, smh lets be forreal. I canceled my appointment bc first, I set this appointment in APRIL/MAY. NO ONE contacted me about insurance or anything. I recently switched jobs and switched insurance as well. They called me leaving me voicemails about how they would cancel my appointment if they didnt have insurance on file…two days before the appointment … what? You dont have anything on file im a NEW PATIENT. But the girl who left the message and on the front desk had a nasty attitude when leaving me a voicemail and when answering my questions. I just canceled the appointment. Insurance shouldn’t be the main concern. The health of my teeth should be smh ill find another office thats focused in providing great care
I've never felt more comfortable at a dental office. From the front desk to the dental chair to check out was a great experience. Dental Hygenist Darlene is awesome as well as the office staff. Glad I chose this facility.
Great friendly and helpful. All the way. I fell comfortable from the minute I step in until I come out with more than a hundred smiles. Because everyone treats me with a beautiful smile in their face
The reason for my rating!! 1. Unprofessional 2. More concerned about a bill that they say that I owed, 15 or 20 years ago. 3. Poor commication skills There are other dental offices that are much more professional than this one. Please do your research.
this was my 1st visit, the staff was very courtesy,and we was walked through the process of what was to be done to me. even though i was nervous, i felt comfortable.Dr Sabur was very professional,because i was getting all my teeth pulled, and it took awhile, she sent her associate to tell my wife why it was taking so long which we appreciated. that over all it was a good experience, i definitely will recommend this office.
