I have been coming here for 10 years for my 12 year old daughter which is on the spectrum. She has build an amazing relationship with Dr Iva where she is no longer afraid to visit the Dentist. No my 2 younger children ages 5 and 6 see her also. My 5 year old is also on the spectrum! Dr Iva is heaven sent! All my kids love her & most of all are comfortable with the visit! Everyone is very pleasant in this office! Will recommend!
I love Dentistry for Children of West Essex! It is by far the best dentistry for children! Dr. Iva Leroy is my Kid’s Dentist for the last 9 years and in between we moved from West Orange to Livingston but I cannot trust anyone else for my kids. She is super nice and my kids love her. She understands your child and makes them feel comfortable. Today my 6-year-old daughter had an appointment for 3 cavities. Dr. Iva made her comfortable and got done within a few minutes. I was highly impressed by her way of dealing with everything. So blessed to have an amazing Dentist. I would highly recommend Dentistry for the Children of West Essex.
My 13 year old daughter really wanted me to write a review. She came in for a problem with a molar. Dr. Angie and her nurse were so kind and did a wonderful job explaining the simple and quick procedure to me and my daughter and really put her at ease. My daughter is normally very jittery at the dentist but she had a great experience and wanted to share it! Thank you!
Dr. Vivian was amazing as usual taking such good care of my son with patience and kindness. His first tooth extraction went smoothly. He is always excited to go to see her because he knows he will be in good hands.
With three children now teenagers we've been coming to Dentistry for Children of West Essex for a decade. Always a great experience and today was no exception. Very welcoming, very professional, outstanding care for our kids. Thank you.
I love love Dr. Angie and all her assistance, they always make my daughter feel safe and make sure that she is comfortable at all time, Dr. Angie is very caring and cares about her patience. My daughter loves going to the Dentist because of her. The only reason I do not given a 5 is because my experience with the lady that takes care of calling insurance and taking payments after service is rendered is always very dry, she is not warm and never see her smile. Besides that I will continue to take my daughter to Dr Angie.
My daughter has been a patient since she was 5 years old. She’s 13. The doctors and staff are always great. The office has been transitioning with new doctors and staff and sometimes the experience can vary.
Abby has been seeing Dr. Eva since she was little. She is very patient, attentive, gentle and professional. Abby trusts Dr. Eva and has little to no anxiety in her dentist chair! We can’t thank her enough for her service!
If I could rate Dr Angie and the kind hygienists we have encountered.. I would give them 5 stars. BUT unfortunately as they say it only takes one bad apple.. and as I have seen on other reviews this is nothing new. It is really a shame that this behavior has been accepted for what seems to be a long time based on review dates. There is one incredibly rude woman at the front desk, unsure of her name but she has grey hair and seems to handle the insurance end. I had the most awful interaction with her today. I have never dealt with such a rude, angry, unprofessional individual. The other women at the desk were kind and respectful and looked legitimately embarrassed by her behavior. In the short time we were there we also witnessed her treating another family the same way until they eventually a stormed out full of frustration. The front desk is the face of your business and in this case it really is a poor reflection of the excellent care received once you make it past the gate keeper.
This place would have been rated a 5 however the front desk ladies are not that friendly and did not make me feel welcomed, especially knowing my daughter was a new patient. However after meeting with the hygienist L and the dentist Vivian, my daughter and I loved everything about how they were detailed, friendly, welcoming and we left understanding feeling comfortable and satisfied!!! At first impression I wanted to leave but happy that I stayed because after the front desk experience it was a delightful experience for my daughter and me.
