Marlene is unbelievably friendly, I had an appointment for 2:45 and I was out of the office at 2:45 she is very efficient and made the experience of getting a passport very effortless. Please give this woman a raise and protect her at all cost.

Avoid this place at all costs period the people there are Typical small town backwood prejudice people.. Everyone does their job with a grudge.. They're very very unhelpful when trying to file papers refuse to give proper information and disrespectful. When you get there they have about 40 papers that you can file with they just throw them on the wall and tell you pick one-off the wall.. It literally should be criminal the way that they withhold information..I I wish governor Abbot would roll up there in his wheelchair and fire all of them. If you can afford a lawyer please get one and avoid any contact with those people that work there especially if you are not a white person.

Passport office is amazing! Make sure you make an appointment and bring a check or money order for each passport first!

I observed a criminal trial here. The judge, Steve Burgess was amazing. Each decision he had to make about trial procedure was self-evidently a brilliant union of the letter and spirit of the law. The prosecutors seemed good and the public defender was brilliant. Everyone was courteous and expert. The entrance security is friendly, and the interior of the building is pleasant.

This is not a representation of Justice but a complete representation of corruption. I had my court date rescheduled at least 7 times because they refused me to represent myself. I couldn't afford a lawyer and there is no evidence on my charge. So why even have a hearing? I can see why these criminals make even more criminals now. This court is oppression at it's finest.

They dont care if youre guilty or not. They are just interested in a conviction. Plus the fact the judge told me that no one has ever won a fake domestic violence case via pro se says it all. I was 10min late to my hearing and I get thrown in jail til my trial in which the prosecutors couldn't even get the false accuser to cooperate or even come to trial. But I wimped out due to starvation in jail and took a plea for my fake charge. Regret that move since my cheap worthless lawyer somewhat persuaded me to take that deal since he's probably in cahoots with them.

Why do family court systems set court orders up so that families have to continuously spend time and money coming back to court? Why are people threatened by judges an attourneys with contempt if the don't make agreements or pay thousands of dollars to defend themselves? When in a custody case, the cases state IN THE INTEREST OF child, how is all of this in the best interest of a child? Why do the courts focus more on co-parenting rather than focusing on what's actually best for the child? Family Courts allow abusers to be around children when the opposing party can't PAY to protect the child.

The judge I had was beyond unprofessional!! And no justice was served for me or my child she viewed my case as another black family in the system. She put my child in harm's way and didnt care anything about it. Dont waste your time filing a case in Denton county if you are African American!!!!! Wish 0 stars was a option.
