Department of Motor Vehicles

It's worth driving to other bureaus. I am lulled in by its convenience, but it is slow, inefficient and today I was rudely lectured at by a worker because I hadn't filled out a form correctly. I explained that I had filled out the form the way I was told to after waiting for over an hour several days earlier. This is a one time deal, but I never leave this bureau feeling like it is well-run.

They gave me 2 seconds to review my address. I thought everything was correct. Now I have to pay again to correct my info on license because they won't take admit their mistake. They work way too fast. They do make mistakes

Fast service and friendly staff. Walked in to renew my license and was out within less than an hour.

Very fast and efficient. They all were really nice but I worked with Amy who was a treat. I was very nervous going in because I thought it was going to have to wait forever and I didn't and it was very handicap accessible

Super helpful staff. WATCH OUT for a Lot of signs posted right outside the door, helpful instructions that let you know what is required before you get in line . Parking right in front & it's located on Hwy 61 right next to the Police Station ... UPS store & other stores nearby. ***Edit: they have a construction going on right at that street 2nd Street, you would have to turn into 4th street towards Cup & Cone & then make another turn into a lane towards the DMV office.

I went on a weekday afternoon, 330-ish PM. Line was to the door. From the door it was about an hour wait.

These ladies are always super helpful and try to move the line along as quick as possible. I've never had a bad experience even when the wait was 40 mins long.

No one goes to the DMV expecting to have a good time, but the WBL DMV is the best I’ve been to. Despite the long waits and all the paperwork, they were incredibly patient and kind and went above and beyond to help me out. They work hard to make a horrible experience 100x better - these ladies deserve a raise!

This was my first time having to make an appointment, and what an improvement! No waiting in line forever until your number is called. I got in right on time, the transaction was quick and easy, and the ladies were all nice and I assume less stressed. Great experience and I got in the same day. Thanks ladies, you guys are the best!

Prior to the pandemic I was always able to call and speak to a representative rather quickly historically they have been very helpful. I have a called a few times in the last few weeks and I have not found an option to speak to a live person. At this stage in the pandemic I would expect a government agency to have phone support in place. Not all questions can be answered via the website.
