The Depot Arts and Community Center building was originally the Great Northern Train Depot. NRHP 87001935
The first day outside and a little cold much warmer Sunday inside and good attendance. Overall pretty good.
Great building! I have had multiple events here and they have all been fantastic. Farmers market is awesome too!
My daughter's wedding here was just spectacular! Picturesque. Idyllic. It was so beautiful that I can't rate it less than 5stars, although the uneven bricks in front led to my taking a tumble and then bleeding on the tablecloth and my beautiful dress & my father stumbling whilst carrying the cake out. The cake did not survive. It might behoove them to explore options for somehow smoothing the bricks that have been lifted by tree roots. Options that maintain the tree's vitality. Maybe some sort of low bridge over the wavy brick area or just remove the brick there. I mean it's not just a little path. The whole in front of the building to the street is brick, if I remember correctly. Anyway, my daughter thought it was hilarious when her grandpa dropped the cake and I wasn't badly injured in my fall that I managed to handle as gracefully as possible, so the bricks did nothing to ruin the day. It was absolutely beautiful!
Been here for the farmers market, now a live show. Such a great little area with beautiful trees
Definitely a great place to visit while you're in Anacortes. I would highly recommend it for sure. Plus on Saturdays during the summer they have the market outside the Depot Arts Center
I was there to help a friend with a wine presentation at a Sail Alaska 2018 event. Lots of things going on, family friendly as well.
The Depot is a laid back, historic venue. Outdoor and indoor areas. The local farmers market uses this space. It has a true Anacortes feel to it.
Great holiday art show at a beautiful location for the next 4 days!
So awesome all local artists are here. Best fudge ever
