What nice museum. It has a large collection of Jeff Bridges’ wife’s photos. She is a well known photographer. Also, much more local history well displayed.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
1902 train station with a large number of old photos of days gone by. Small but informative. Still against the tracks so a great train watching location.
Very cool museum very clean and love the artifacts and history.
It's the old Northern Pacific depot now a railroad museum containing a lot of Livingston and railroad history. I belong to the model railroad club in the basement of the old baggage room which is part of t bgg e museum.
Love love the model railroad downstairs at the depot center! What an awesome hidden gem. And all the mid century art deco signage throughout town is a must see!Visited onWeekdayWait time30–60 minReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree

We had a really good time here. It was very cool to learn about the history of the railroad as well as some information on area animal migrations. This was a great use of a rainy day.
I was here to help install the exhibition "Invisible Boundaries" which documents wildlife migrations, specifically of elk in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. This is one of my favorite exhibits and it will be opening soon in a very cool venue. The staff of the Depot are extremely friendly and it was a pleasure working with them. Be sure to stop by and check out the amazing historic building and local railroad history, along with an exciting, contemporary wildlife science exhibit!
Railway history at its best, carefully compiled and a pleasure for the visitor
