Description

Derailed Commodity was formed by Henry Smith and his sons Larry and Miles in 1965. Originally formed to market railroad and insurance salvage, the company began to merchandise building supplies such as paneling and lumber in August of 1967. In 1969, Larry and Miles traded some paneling for carpet…this was the beginning of what would eventually lead to over 15 million dollars a year in floor covering sales today!
Today we have expanded our selection to include all types of Carpet and Hard Surfaces as well as Furniture and Mattresses!

We are redoing a Victorian house. Somebody has put horrible laminate flooring in the kitchen. It clashes with the original hardwood Red Oak and fir flooring that it has. I came here to look for tile to replace the flooring. As soon as I walked in and started walking towards the flooring the lady rudely told me that the cheap laminate flooring was the other direction. I tried explaining to her that I was interested in tile. She rudely told me about how the prices were way up there. Lady I was thinking about spending about $50,000 on the flooring in this home cash money cash money I'm sorry we're not good enough for you

Got my new bed from this place love it.
Couldn't recommend enough. Friendly staff that are willing to talk to you. High quality brands at very reasonable prices. Plus it's not in town so you pay cheaper taxes while supporting a local business. We bought a loveseat and sofa and are very happy with our purchase. They guys that shipped it were very nice and kept everything clean.
Extremely helpful folks. We will be back for more after this upcoming project is done.
Derailed Commodity products are way below prices of other furniture and home building supply stores. Their employees are so helpful and knowledgeable with all my questions and ideas. I plan on returning very soon to buy more furniture.
