I was planning on giving 5 stars, however after we had left and my husband had to go back into the movie theater our 5 year old son forgot his stuffed animal he heard a gentleman named Joe saying how he hates kids. I have 4 kids with me 5 and under and the four year old accidentally dropped her popcorn. We tried to pick it up but the lights went out and she nor I could see to picked it up. We waited until after the movie for the lights to come on and they never did. So we left. However Joe decided saying he hates kids because my 4 year old dropped her popcorn and he was cleaning it up. I'm not sure if we will be going back. I spoke to who I was told was the manager and I believe is the owner as well stated he would speak to him he heard him say this and then went on to defend and explain that kids trashed a few rows on July 4 and that is why. However the difference was he said they was teenagers and my girl was 4. I told him that he should leave a broom and dustpan in the movie rooms for us parents that don't like to leave a mess. I apologized for my child's mess but after the comment Joe made, I don't think we will return. It's pretty sad since everything was amazing and loved it until one person made a comment about MY child and her small mess. The mess was small as she only had the children's combo.
First time going to the movies here. I will be back. Great prices and helpful staff. Highly recommend, had a good time.
I appreciate having a theater close to home that shows all of the new releases in a clean, inviting, updated theater. The staff are always friendly and efficient. I enjoyed the new seats, too! Thank you for offering a kid combo and now a big kid combo in the snack bar. Thank you for being a part of the Derby community!
Difficulty buying tix online. Went to theater to buy in advance. Theater was comfortable. Sound was good. Could have been a bit cooler. But it was well over 100° outside. A/C was working hard. Plenty of seats to choose from. This place is a hidden gem. What Wichita theaters?
Went to see Little Mermaid on a Sunday. The place is really small and the chair that I was sitting in was broke so we had to moe to another section. The line to get and but tickets is the same so there was a little wait. It's an old theater that could use some sprucing up but overall it is cool to go to Every once in a while
Really affordable especially in this day and age. Bathrooms were clean, snacks were good and defi not overcrowded. I think this would be mine and my familys movie theater when we just can't wait until the movie to come out
1st time there. All the prices were much much better than the big chain theaters. Will definitely will be going back soon.
My childhood theater. We used to go every Friday in middle school. The seats could use an update but love the hometown theater vibes always a great time.
It was clean people were nice. Prices weren't terrible. Theater itself wasnt packed which was nice. Did a good job with the popcorn butter.
Nice option if you're looking for a smaller setting outside of Wichita. Some rooms inside aren't updated yet so the chairs are a little uncomfortable.
