Our Department consists of fire and EMS personnel who deliver high quality emergency and non-emergency services; fire prevention and code enforcement staff who enforce life safety codes and encourage community risk reduction initiatives; and emergency dispatchers who provide communication services and other support functions.
We are extremely proud of the people in our organization, and the quality of services that we provide. The Department members work diligently to be technically current, fiscally responsible, and highly trained in order to provide the optimal level of emergency and non-emergency public safety services to the community.
The Department embraces change as a mechanism to serve the public and our employees. We are a respected leader within the fire and EMS service industry and a trusted agency when requested to provide mutual and automatic aid to our neighboring communities. The Derry Fire Department continues to strive to be the best in the industry by working toward nationally accredited standards.
