Community Consolidated School District 62 serves more than 5,268 Pre-K – 8th-grade students in eleven schools. More than 600 early learning (ages 3-5) students are educated at the Early Learning Center (ELC) at Forest, Rosemont Recreation Center, and the Des Plaines Public Library.
The District's 11 schools include:
Iroquois Community School, a year-round school serving kindergarten through 8th grade.
Other elementary schools are:
Central, Cumberland, Forest, North, Orchard Place, Plainfield, South, and Terrace.
There are two middle schools: Algonquin and Chippewa.
All students advance to Maine West High School.
