Great location, can see across the Valley. Very dated rooms, so need an upgrade. Pools are always good. Please upgrade the rooms, this is a diamond in the really ruff ruff.. 2 guys at the front counter when we checked in were great. If the hotel was only as good as these two at the check in tonight about 8pm. Rooms: Please redo the rooms Safety: Gated which is nice for parking Noteworthy details: Mineral pool is why we come. Would stay longer but rooms just are not that comfortable for more than a night
As a single mom of 2 checking in can be very tough but as soon as I came in Jonah checked me in quick and made me feel at home by taking initiative by helping with my bags and accommodating me in a room that is more accessible for my infant. Val was so sweet by ensuring I knew where I can park and get the luggage cart. My room had 2 twin beds and as soon as I opened my door COLD AC! The best part as soon as I opened my curtain, the pool was right outside my balcony. Definitely recommend this place and I found my home hotel at Palm Springs for sure from now on. Rooms: My kids and I loved the two twin bed room. My son got his own bed, own table for his stuff, and his own sink. My kids were happy so honestly all I look forward to in any hotel stay.
This is my first time staying at this location… but I will definitely come back again. The room I booked was a queen size room and it was very spacious. They have a mini fridge without the frozen section and a microwave. The front counter people was really nice, they helped me bring my beverages to my room before my check in due to the hot weather outside. The hotel it self is pretty old and needs some repairs. But the best part is that they have 8 pools and all of them are pretty big sized. Sometimes it gets crowded but most of the times it has medium crowds. One thing that I dislike about this place is how it has a late check in which is at 4 pm. However, you can arrive when ever you can and get in the pools first before your check in. Another really good thing is that their pools open 24 hours so if you’re a late person and hate crowds, then at night is your time to have fun. Overall, I would definitely come back again Rooms: Very spacious and clean Food & drinks: They do not allow outside drinks on the pool deck
The Desert Hot Springs Spa Hotel is a nice place to go to for a cheap one-night stay. It's relatively clean, has decently-shaped rooms with comfortable beds, and most importantly, has great privacy. I've stayed here twice now, and I would definitely come back here again. The parts that suck, though, are that they have such a late check-in time 4 PM, such an early check-out time 11 AM, and that the pools and the hot tubs are always so crowded. It's, without a doubt, not the place to go for people riddled with social anxiety. Rooms: The rooms are clean, in decent shape, and seem well-maintained. They have useful appliances and good lighting in the bathrooms, but lack outlets. The rooms with the private balconies are a really nice touch. Nearby activities: There are swimming pools and hot tubs, as well as private massage rooms. There's also a gift shop and a restaurant on-site. Walkability: There definitely is a lot of walking at the hotel — a little too much for someone as unfit as I am. Noteworthy details: The check-in time is 4 PM and the check-out time is 11 AM.
We stayed at their sister hotel a block away and were told to check out The Desert Hot Spring resort instead. From top to bottom it is day and night! We first met Nadine at the front desk when we visited to scope the place out. Mostly Because of her we booked a room for two nights and found everything from the staff to the food, to the guests, to the accommodations to be wonderful. Stephenie at the front desk was so fantastic that we have today extended for another five days! Thank you all! Food & drinks: Their chili is wonderful!
Well I had some family visiting who decided to stay at the miracle. For breakfast we decided to all meet up and eat at the spa hotel. DO NOTTTTT EAT HERE if you get the server Lisa, nothing was wrong with it other than that. Food was decent, chef even came out to greet us. We had a party of 12, only 2 kids whom are very respectful. About 2 minutes after our order we switched only 2 seats a kid swapped with an adult. When the server came back she said “oh you did some swaps” so we responded “just the two” in a very nasty tone she says “yes I understand that but that messes me up” we ignored it. Later on when she drops off the food she passes all the food over people dropping powder sugar on us, I accidentally bump her while trying to move and she had the nerve to say “excuse you”. An overall terrible experience, she didn’t smile once, didn’t introduce herself, I had to check her name tag to even leave a review. Didn’t return once to fill waters. ON A 12 Person table. She sighed when we asked for sugar free syrup. We still left her s 20% tip, but if this is who the hotel is letting represent the restaurant, I hope the rest of the hotel isn’t like this. We will not be returning, neither will our family.
YEARS after the last time that I stayed here I was suddenly charged by the hotel for a food and beverage charge that according to the hotel was never paid for before we checked out during our last stay. This is not something that I even see as feasible as when you get any items from the hotel Cafe/bar/restaurant is charged right when you get it and you would not be allowed to check out if there was any unpaid charges or open tickets to the room. I'm also very concerned that they kept my credit card number on file for all this time. That's illegal to do and illegal to charge for something YEARS after. Watch out with credit cards here. I would recommend using only prepaid cards here
I love this place!!! It’s so healing to soak in the spa water and the sauna is also great, the diner food is so good and the 60’s lounge has decent selection to choose from nothing really high end but the staff in the restaurant and bar are super cool, the history there has its vibes in the walls, you’re even allowed to soak in the spas all night long if you get a room there, it’s not a fancy place but it’s got soul and the rooms are up to standard, this place is a hidden gem for sure and it’s worth the trip out there a million times over, when the weather isn’t as cold I like to spend time there, there memorabilia from all the famous people who used to stay there is really cool to see as well, you can buy a wrist band for $15 to soak in the different springs for the day until 8:pm if you don’t get a room and 24/7 if you do get a room so don’t miss out on this paradise oasis!!!
The property looks old and can use some upgrades and remodeling, but we're all here for the pools and jacuzzis right? That's where this place excels. 8 different pools and jacuzzis to choose from. Hot, warm or cool. Hopefully not too crowded on your visit...Rooms: 3/5
