ABOUT US
Desert Lawn Memorial Park is located in the beautiful rolling hills of Palmdale, CA, up on a hill, away from the congestion of the city. Desert Lawn is a private cemetery, on private property, that enables families to enjoy a quiet setting while visiting their loved ones. . Desert Lawn is the only operating memorial park in Palmdale. Desert Lawn has 47 acres, all dedicated cemetery property, recorded with the County of Los Angeles. Desert Lawn opened in 1959 and has been owned by the same family since 1977, with three generations.

Brenda L. Allen-Spruill is our Licensed Cemetery Manager and has been with our company since February 6, 1991. Brenda has the delicate nature to professionally assist you with all of your needs in which you may have, when you experience the loss of a loved one. Brenda truly cares for each and every family that comes into our office, she has a gentle, loving personality, with much compassion and an open ear. Brenda has great concern for your needs.
When scheduling a service, services must be paid (3) business days prior to our services being rendered. Appointments are required when making arrangements for immediate need as well as Before Need Arrangements. Price sheets are always available upon request, no appointment necessary for price sheets. In scheduling an appointment, this allows for us to give you her uninterrupted attention to the details of your service, to celebrate the life and memory of your loved one.
It is recommended to call before visiting, to ensure that someone in the office will be available. If we are assisting a family, we are unable to answer the door, however you may call and leave a message. We will assist you as quickly as possible, in the order of urgency and in the order the call was received.
If you are looking for the location of a family member or friend, please call Rocio at Ext. 102. Rocio will be happy to send you a map with the location of your loved one. Rocio can also send out property transfer packets, if you need assistance in selling your property due to a move out of state.

In closing, I call Desert Lawn a desert oasis, because it is one of the most beautiful places to me. Because we are located off of our private road, we do not have the noise of the city. In the mornings, the birds sing such amazing music up on our hill. The music is HEAVENLY.

PARK GATES OPEN DAILY (365 Days a year) 8:00AM-5:30PM.
LANTZ SECURITY WILL ARRIVE AT 5:20 PM TO SCAN THE PARK AND RESPECTFULLY ASK ANY VISITORS TO KINDLY DEPART BY 5:30 PM FOR LASER ACTIVATION AND LOCKING OF OUR GATES. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND COOPERATION, AS OUR LASERS WILL BE ACTIVATED FOR PARK SECURITY SYSTEMS AND DISPATCH FOR THE SHERIFF. We take great pride in protecting our memorial park and all of the families in which we serve.
OFFICE HOURS: 8:00AM-4:00PM- CLOSED FROM 12:00-1:00 PM CLOSED SAT. AND SUN.
We do allow artificial flowers at Desert Lawn, as long as they are in a regulated ground vase. No glass, ceramics , candles allowed. All of our services include a full set up with carpet, covered chairs and a canopy.
We do not charge if you would like to witness the lowering of the casket for your loved one. All services quoted will be our base price. You may choose property right next to a tree, or close to the road, without any price change. We have six beautiful gardens with thousands of spaces available, for the base price. My goal is to provide you with a beautiful service, without over spending.
DESERT LAWN MEMORIAL PARK IS A PRIVATE CEMETERY. PLEASE BE PREPARED TO SHOW PHOTO ID UPON REQUEST AT ANYTIME DURING YOUR VISIT ON OUR PRIVATE GROUNDS. IT IS OUR GOAL AND DUTY TO KEEP DESERT LAWN MEMORIAL PARK A PLACE OF DIGNITY FOR YOUR LOVED ONE TO REST. WE DO NOT PERMIT LOITERING AND VISITORS MUST HAVE PERMISSION TO BE ON OUR GROUNDS.

Our office is open from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday Through Friday. Our office is closed from 12:00 pm through 1:00 pm,
Our office reopens at 1:00 pm and closes at 4:00 pm, daily, Monday through Friday. Our office is closed on Saturday and Sunday
We strongly recommend calling before visiting if you plan to seek assistance from our office staff, as we may be with a family and unable to assist you immediately, due to the tenderness and nature of this business in assisting a family in the time of need with our undivided, caring attention. If you call to schedule an appointment ( required to make arrangements) we will be sure to be available via working your families needs into our schedule. If you are planning to visit, we can provide you a map of the park via email, or to be left on the door for your convenience. Please call in advance so that we can have this ready for you, if able. We always do our best to assist the families in which we serve efficiently and effectively.
Please be informed that our grounds crew will direct you to the office. If the door is locked due to a family in need, please call and leave us a message. We will return your call as promptly as possible, you and your family are very important to us.
