Desert Rancho Motel

I used to go every year to the desert rancho motel but now I wouldn't even begin to think of staying there it's in a nice area of bullhead city the heat is 120 degrees in the summer and the owner won't even get the pool repaired and redone I used to love going there with my 2 girls they would. Have so much fun going to the pool in the night at 98 degrees they charge enough to have there swimming pool redone even the rooms are straight out Below ghettoo worse than South Central Los Angeles

I've stayed at the desert rancho prior to this time. Amazing management. The room was clean. I found it's hard to find good customer service these days and honest people. If they think you will over pay or you can get a room cheaper elsewhere they will let you know before checking in. It's peaceful and people in the area are nice. Thank you to the management and employees. I know it's not easy being a housekeeper especially during this pendemic. My 2 kids and I had nowhere to go and they have been the nice people in town. There were no rooms available or ready but someone had checked out early and they cleaned the room up just so I would have somewhere to stay with my kids. My family and I greatly appreciate you guys and everything you do! Your hard work shows God bless

Nice for 1 night stays otherwise they wont give you toilet paper or clean towels. Wont clean the floor even every other day if youre in the room. High recommend finding somewhere with nicer employees nd no roaches. Not a family establishment. 1/10

A family member came for a week visit and found a room here at half the price of the others near by . The lady at the desk was very nice and went out of her way to make sure she had a great vacation here. The room was very clean there was no dust or dirt at all. Thus was during the pandemic so she used a lysol wipe and wiped down the room before bringing her things in , the white lysol wipe was still white and that in itself was amazing . The place was very quiet and there was not one bad thing she could say . This will be her go to when she visits again and she has already started telling everyone she knows to stay here while in town . I also would like to thank the staff for making her really enjoy her time here especially since the river was all fenced in and the things that make this city a destination were all closed or limited or had mandatory mask usage to go inside.

Friendly staff. Cash discount. Rooms are clean and have refrigerator and microwave. Dish satellite TV. No wifi. On-site laundry with two washers and two dryers. They were working on the pool so it wasn't open 03/21/2021. Decent rates.

Roach infested the front door didn't lock the non smoking room smelled like a smoking room. The staff sucked. Would not give me half a refund. Roaches came out of my sandles. The lady was very rude. The worst 90 dollars I spent in my life. Didn't even give me my military discount even after she said she would. N I showed her my ID

Can you please give me NO STARS! This Dive should be avoided at ALL COSTS! A relative is there for a week. I came to visit. People hanging outside their rooms look like something off of an episode of Cops from the 80s. That or they are in the witness protection program. Whole property looks and smells like a toilet that hasn't been cleaned since the original airing of that before mentioned cops episode. GROSS!!!

Desert Ranchos management is HORRIBLE. Terrible customer service. Rooms are not clean. Feeling desperate I paid money for the entire week. Later finding something more suitable for the situation I'm in so I asked for a refund almost immediately 15 20 minutes after leaving the place. I tried to give the key back but they hung up on me. I even offered to pay for the night I had the keys, since they were unable to rent to someone else.. to be fair to them and to me.. And they just took my money for the week without a care and wouldn't give it back or work with me. They are rude vile people who scream and holler when you try to reason. They don't care if you are satisfied with the services they provide or didn't. They are unprofessional, they aren't friendly people, and their rooms are old, out dated, and gross. Most the people there are on drugs. Save your money, don't go. Gretchen's inn Is also horrible my room smelled of drugs because it wasn't cigarettes and I was holding my nose in the elevator SAME SMELL.

Was there on biker weekend, unexpected. Not sure of normal days Rooms: Clean, and quiet Walkability: On foot, so all is walkable

Was thankful to get a room but little did I know. Im not going to say much but I will say this the lady is nice but she does whatever the drunk Richard says. He is mean rude a male chauvinist and disrespectful to paying guest. No pool. Had to fog room for roaches before I could even go in. Two hours to mop floor that was literally black. Had no choice at the moment but got out as soon as I could. If you have a choice please continue to drive past this dump!!!! 1 star minus!!!!!
