I love this furniture store. They have so many unique pieces of furniture. The quality of their products are great and well worth the price. I had Claudia Schoenfeld help me with several purchases. She was amazing! She has great taste and was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this store and Claudia to help you make your home beautiful.
Lovely lovely lovely store! One of the first stores I checked out when I first got to Scottsdale. Super friendly, happy staff. Wish they shipped to Canada... really neat how they sell both new and old classics which you never come across ever! worth every dollar for sure!!
Is there less than 1 star? Horrid manufacturing, communication, and delivery. I ordered 4 pieces, my experience has been horrid with each, which I’ll explain in turn. 1 bed: I ordered a bed, aside from it being months late, I got a call about 5 months in - and 2 months late-, that they couldn’t make it bc of a fabric availability issue. Two days later a delivery company calls me to set up delivery; 2 I ordered a couch in February for delivery end of May. At the end of June, I get notification that it’s in Ohio awaiting delivery to Phoenix. I’m told that twice. Then, a week later I get a call that the fabric is discontinued and if I want to order it in another fabric, it’ll take 14 weeks; 3 I ordered a dining table shown as “in stock”- I’ve now been waiting 3.5 months; I’m obviously cancelling it; And finally, I ordered a chair, it’s a month or so behind but I have zero faith I’ll ever see it. I understand manufacturing delays and shipping delays, but my experience is not that. It’s complete disorganization, disregard for the customer, inability to manufacture & dishonesty. I’d be surprised if DWR is in business in a year, they are so poorly run. Save yourself heartache, and time and order elsewhere. The Roche Bobois sofa I ordered mid- pandemic came on time from Italy.
I ordered 4 house numbers in May. Two of the numbers shipped and arrived but I did not receive any information about the other two. After making two inquiries, I was finally told there was a delay and the other two would ship on June 3. June 3 came and went with no numbers. The associate I chatted with them told me that I was wrong and there was no delay. A manager later apologized. I was assured after writing this review that I would get updates. I did not. The remaining two numbers finally shipped on 7/15. DWR, stop blaming your poor customer service on the pandemic and improve it. I won’t be back.
Great products - however - delivery is a problem. Three weeks ago I received an email stating my product had shipped. They also billed my credit card at that time. The shipper has now had possession of my product for 3+ weeks and still no delivery. Worse yet - DWR customer service has not been able to definitively tell when I can expect delivery. Very frustrating.
Epic FAIL on Delivery .... After several delays my order finally arrived. I appreciate that we are living in a COVID world, but DWR is completely misleading customers on estimated delivery dates. Not only do they miss their delivery windows -- they DO NOT provide any proactive communication to customers other than lame banners on their website about shipping issues. Customer Service agents have ZERO answers and provide ZERO follow-ups. This is suppose to a premium/luxury brand and as a such I expected MORE
Very poor experience shopping for furniture. There is almost no follow up; it's over three months after the purchase, no furniture delivery but moreover, no apology or kind gesture. You have to call, to write emails, to wait and in return, you get this very sufficient attitude. Really sad because the furniture they sell mostly form Europe is beautiful.
We have dealt with this store periodically for years and have always found their staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Recently we took advantage of the Living Room sale to buy a nice lounge chair. Liza Harper, who is the Studio Proprietor i.e., the boss, was exceptionally helpful and patient with us. In addition to having wonderful furniture and accessories, this store's customer service truly is exemplary.
Came into the store last Saturday. Tested different Herman Miller chairs and "thought" the Cosm felt best. Walked down the stairs - and was leaving! - when Ken stopped me to ask a few helpful questions. I mentioned the Cosm chair then he helped me consider the best options for me. He showed me everything A-Z about the Herman Miller chairs and after I was fully informed, it was quite apparent I wanted the Aeron B chair. Wow, what a great experience at exactly the right moment in time! I am so thankful Ken asked me questions on the way out. Thank you for saving me so much time now and in the future, Ken. I look forward to sending business clients and personal friends to Ken at Design Within Reach!
Edit, not sure how I reviewed this before with 1 star, I have a client in the same building, my phone may have been unlocked and I hit it by accident. I've never shopped here, my client has and they said it was a great experience. I asked and they said give them five, so there you go!
