DeSoto Regional Health System is comprised of an acute care, 38-bed, not-for-profit hospital, 3 rural health clinics, and wellness facility. DRHS provides a wide ranges of services and strives to create a comfortable, hometown environment while emphasizing compassionate, personal care.

The DeSoto Regional Medical Staff includes 4 active-staff physicians, 3 employed nurse practitioners, 1 employed physician’s assistant, 117 courtesy physicians, 20 courtesy allied health professionals, and over 216 employees.

Wonderfully friendly and efficient staff. No time was wasted here. Arrival to departure for dental procedure was less than two hours. Breakfast in the cafeteria very reasonable price. Two thumbs up.

Today I had the pleasure of encountering Nurse Katie and A lady doctor. I forgot her name. But this is the best experience I have ever had at this ER. I appreciate then both being knowledgeable, professional, caring, and respectful of my time. I hope that whomever is in charge sees this and commends the ladies for a job well done. I am grateful!

Went to get a drug test…the office opened later than they posted time of 7am, the receptionist was disgustingly rude and unprofessional, and wouldn’t give me her name, a little short, round, white lady… I see why the reviews are so low…There little sweet boy in there is weird to… the companies values start at the head, apparently they don’t care, so why would the employees. Trash establishment 5/16/23 7am

The wait times for surgery are HORRIBLE. So unorganized and just ridiculous. We had to be there to check in at 10:00 for my daughters dental procedure and she didn’t get called back until 4 hours later. She couldn’t eat or drink anything all morning and they just didn’t care. They also stuck her 4 different times trying to get her IV in. She’s 5 years old and she was under anesthesia while trying to do this so there’s no excuse for her to be stuck that many times. Definitely don’t recommend this hospital

Never Again! When I moved here from California I made sure to get the highest quality of Health Insurance that I could. Went in for Strep and got that bill! Even the hospital in Shreveport covered most of the costs. Not this place and now I know.

If I could I would give them 0 stars, the doctor in the ER was rude and didn’t care about my pain that I was having ..

If you ever go here you better pack a lunch and a sleeping bag. Worst hospital I’ve ever experienced. My girlfriend got stung by a wasp and had a bad allergic reaction…. Throat swelling up, arms was swollen, numb and red. The receptionist was asking her life’s story, primary care physician, favorite color, biggest fears etc….. Long story short i had time to drive 20 minutes to get an epi pen and 20 minutes back and she still wasn’t seen. Ended up solving the problem and leaving before they took her back.

horrible place. my wife went in with numb feet, redness, high blood pressure, they did blood work said she was fine and to go see a regular doctor. 3 days letter her left arm went numb and she hasn't regained feeling. her blood pressure has been 140/107. its a shame how this hospital treats people

I was apprehensive coming here after reading reviews. I work in surgery myself and hold it to a higher standard. My child's dentist works out of this hospital so I was extremely nervous. Everyone from my son's registration, his rn, crna, dr and recovery rn were phenomenal. We got there at 6 immediately went to registration and things moved quickly. He was in recovery by 8. Everything was clean and everyone was so delightful

We were scheduled for 8:30 and it’s currently 11:48 and we still have not been seen. The receptionist said 8:30 is just the arrival time and they scheduled 9 other people at the same time and there are still 4 other people infront of my daughter. This is beyond ridiculous my daughter is crying because she is hungry and she can’t eat or drink anything. They should schedule a certain time for each patient! This is so unprofessional!
