The DeSoto Tudor on Capitol Hill is adjacent to the Utah State Capitol, Memory Grove, and minutes from Ensign Peak. The architecture on DeSoto Street is a mix of old and new, this is what creates the charm about it living up here. DeSoto street is lined with massive sycamore trees that were planted in the late 1920’s creating a breathing arch across the street. The neighborhood has a great deal of character and we can’t wait to show it off to you.

COMFY SUPERIOR SUITE
Our Superior Suite is located on the lower walkout level of the DeSoto Tudor on Capitol Hill. Some of our guests have described it as a Mother-in-law’s apartment. The color palette that we have created for the Superior Suite offers a warm, peaceful, soothing, and serene escape from a chaotic day. When was the last time that you felt this way at a big box hotel, been a while? You deserve more than just the reward points. You need to feel relaxed!
The queen size, pillow top bed allows you to just lay there and indulge yourself while bring wrapped in our 300-count cotton threaded sheets, triple sheeted for additional comfort. If you need to catch up on your emails or just finish some work, the workstation is equipped with additional wall outlets and USB Ports. We offer Xfinity wireless Wi-Fi throughout the house and patios. You have a choice of either 2.4G or 5G. The printers/scanners are networked, so it allows our guests easy access.
The private bath offers a full walk-in shower, oversized shower head and a hand-held massage wand, with a fog free mirror in the shower for convenience. It also is appointed with cotton bath towels, complimentary bath products, wall mounted swing arm make-up mirror and plenty of storage. If you have overlooked packing your amenities - don't worry, we have you covered.
Our family room creates the added comfort that our guests are looking for a homestay property. Both the sofa sleeper and the love seat are perfect for just putting your feet up and either reading a book or watching television. Good chance you might just fall asleep right there. We have Xfinity cable with 100+ channels, HBO, SHOWTIME, STREAM TV, ON DEMAND, and a DVD/Blu Ray player that has Amazon, Vudu and other specialty channels. You are bound to find something to watch. If you are requiring something more relaxing then television, connect to the De Soto Tudor Sonos sound system with a wide array of music for your listening pleasure.
We really want our guests to feel like they have never left home. So, you have the choice to start the day off with a Deluxe Continental Breakfast or you can venture out to one of the restaurants that are a short walk to the downtown area. The guest pantry is furnished with a Keurig coffee station and an assortment of coffees, hot chocolate and herbal teas. The full-size refrigerator is stocked with sodas, juice, lemonade and bottle water. There are the healthy snacks, breakfast bars, cookies and other goodies that you will want to indulge in, late at night. There is a microwave if you are needing to have popcorn while watching one of many channels on the television.
You will want to relax on the lower deck, sip a cup of coffee or tea in the morning. Once you are back for the evening, enjoy the sunset over the Oquirrh Mountain range, have a beverage, utilize the grill, or unwind in the hot tub. We promise you won’t want to leave.
