I used Desserts by Rita to make the cake for my wedding and it was absolutely amazing! Cindy is so sweet and met with my now husband and I to do a cake tasting. I wasn't expecting much, but the cake seriously tasted incredible! It was so moist and the icing was so light and delicious, not like a typical wedding cake at all. I got so many compliments as well from guests at my wedding saying that the cake was the best tasting cake they had ever had. Multiple people told me they had more than one piece because it was so good! In addition to it tasting delicious, it also looked so beautiful! I didn't care much as to what my cake looked like, but it blew me away when I saw it! I got a ton of compliments from people as well about how truly beautiful the cake looked. Desserts by Rita is awesome! I would definitely book them again and recommend them to everyone!

Delicious cakes, with on point decorating. The cakes are always fresh and moist, that will have you saying "mmmyumm". Friendly service and they're honest with what they are able to put on a cake. I have always had a beautiful result, making it hard to even cut slices. Definitely worth every penny. I have ordered a couple cakes via telephone and they have turned out better than I had imagined. This past time my daughter requested a kitty cat cake asking for about 7 months now for her 3rd birthday. It is amazing, absolutely adorable. Vanilla with buttercream frosting is my favorite, simple yet delish.

First time! Ordered a small fudgey chocolate mousse cake for my husband's birthday and it was delicious! I was a bit worried when I opened the box cause I thought it would covered in chocolate cream, but the whipped cream balanced everything out and it was the perfect amount of sweetness! Due to COVID you are not allowed into the bakery, but they have a carryout window, which is very convenient. All staff was wearing masks and I saw two separate workers finish cakes/ desserts and wash their hands and clean their areas before starting on the next. Sad to see them leave Havre de Grace, but will be stopping in their Ocean City location whenever we vacation down there!

Our only regret from our wedding day is that we didn’t eat more of our cake. It was delicious and beautiful! If you’re considering Desserts by Rita to do your wedding cake, all you need to do is go to a tasting to be convinced. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out visually or how it tasted. So many wonderful choices for cakes and icings to choose from. Wow, they are delicious loved the almond cake and you can buy slides at the counter!! The creative styles on display are beautiful, but they are always willing to work to meet individual requests and ideas! Cindy took care and made my daughter's wedding cake and shower cake with attention to details.

I googled bakery near me and this place came up. It was my husband birthday and didnt want to get another store brought cake so I stopped in. They had several ready made cakes with a variety of flavors. I picked the vanilla chocolate 2 layer cake with vanilla, fudge and chocolate icing the cake was amazing great flavor, very moist. My husband doesn't like chocolate, but he ate this cake up. Next time I will come in advance to get a special made cake. Their wedding and birthday cakes looked amazing there. The lady at the front was also very pleasant, nice and professional even asked if I wanted her to write happy birthday and my husband name on the cake for me. Pricing was also decent I paid $46.00 for the 8inch cake. They also have some cakes sliced that you can buy by the slice. I'm glad I came in to try!

We were married this past weekend. Rita's Delight created a beautiful wedding cake for us that was absolutely delicious. We chose the Chocolate Devils Food and Almond flavors for our layers and they were just scrumptious! We choose a theme with the chocolate sea shells and it was gorgeous.... so pretty we hated to cut it but it was worth it.... our guests just loved it!

Delicious cakes here. We are getting married at the van diver inn in Havre De Grace. They have a deal to make wedding cakes with this shop when you have your event there. So we get a custom wedding cake included which is convenient. The owner was really nice and helpful deciding on the flavors that we were going to pick too. Highly recommended.

This is hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. Cindy was a dream to work with. Our cake was beautiful. She helped us craft our vision and then made it better than we could have imagined.
