I have visited this church. The pastor or leader of this church is well learned/trained in biblical theology. There was much Word being taught. I want to speak to the previous comment which gave one star citing that women should not pastor but listen in silence. I agree that this was spoken by Paul the Apostle. Consider however; 1.Lord Jesus Himself in whom we serve never muzzled women or discriminated according to gender; There was a social order but His actions esteemed women higher than the social norm during His time here. 2. The church is not a place, it is a people. 3.She became pastor as a result of being widowed. 4.In today's culture, there is a shortage of eligible men who are willing to commit or no longer required to commit within some communities or cultures. Generally, women are the leaders and burden bearers within these communities. Should the word cease to be taught when there are fewer men who are willing to bear the sacrifices of leading ? Rightly dividing the Word also includes considering the audience of the teaching and the social order of the day.
Amzing church amazing people. I love the Pastor and first family. Pastor Andrea teaches you the word where you have full and complete understanding.
