My daughter has been coming here for a few years now. So glad they made it through the pandemic! They are responsive, direct, and attentive to kids and families. My girl feels great when she comes out of the salon and that's all that matters. Prices are fair and it's relatively easy to get an appointment if you book in advance. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

I would give this place a zero star if I could, based on principle alone!! I started bringing my daughter here when our regular stylist went on maternity leave. While the stylist we used was great at her job the owner is very inconsistent with her pricing and it increases each and every visit. My daughter does not add any hair to her cornrows and we were charged adult prices for shoulder length hair. I have zelled my last payment to Destiny Kids Salon.

I’ve been taking my daughter here over 3 years now. I’ve been satisfied with every hairstyle. My daughter is always happy and smiling every time she looks in the mirror. + The owner is very professional as well.

The first time I took my daughter to get her hair done was a good experience. Despite the fact she cried as she was only 3 1/2 with alot of hair and very tender headed, the stylist was patient with her and styled it beautiful. Since the first visit wasn't too bad I didn't have any apprehension about going back despite how long it took to book an appointment. The second visit was a completely different story. She had no patience with her despite being a stylist for a CHILDRENS' salon, she kept stopping saying she couldn't deal with it and even threatened my daughter with scissors saying that she would cut her hair off if she didn't stop crying. She did not do a good job styling her hair and the owner later had the nerve to charge me $40 more than what I paid the first time stating that the charge was for the service that the stylist provided and the time it took, which to me did not deserve what was being charged. The style was not done properly. She kept stopping to use the phone, eat and bully my child. She was extremely unprofessional. The complete opposite of the first stylist as well as the other stylist that was working in the shop

Very patient with my little one . And they do a great job at making sure the children are ok,This shop makes you feel right at home . Very welcoming and professional .

Don’t listen to the negative reviews, This salon is amazing . The stylists are very polite and cooperative and do a great job I bring my children there all the time now and they love it

So I must say this. My close friend recommended this spot where she take her princes. So l looked at the reviews and was like dam I didn’t like what I was reading. However, everyone has a different view on things. Decided to give them a chance and my experience was outstanding and pleasant. I’m very big on experiences when spending my money. Vikky was amazing with my baby girl. She has a customer for life. I traveled from the BX and I must say I don’t mind. Vikky rock my baby hair and the other young lady rock other lil ones hairstyle in butterflies. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant for children with gospel music to there ears. Shout out to my home girl. Both employees braid NEAT and FAST!!Service: Hairstyling

The ladies are nice and polite. The place is clean and comfortable. It’s not crowded or noisy. This is my 3rd time taking my baby there to get her hair braided, and it will be a 4th Gods willing.Service: Braids
